Fits Winner WG1 and WG8 smartphones; replaces OEM battery CS-WKL003SL.
3.7V, 1200mAh cell delivers 4.44Wh — restores talk time and standby duration on original hardware.
Connector seats into the WG1 battery slot with standard lithium-ion terminal orientation and mechanical lock.
We bench-tested the pack against the WG1 fuel gauge IC; BMS accepted charge protocol without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

WINNER WG1 / WG8 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion cell for the WINNER WG1 and WG8 smartphones. It replaces the original battery when capacity has degraded and the phone can no longer hold a usable charge. Physical dimensions are 53.00 × 34.00 × 5.70mm — measure your original before fitting.

  • WG1 and WG8 compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, voltage rail, and connector pinout, so one cell covers either handset without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the WG1 platform. The BMS accepted the charge profile correctly and protection circuits tripped as expected at low-voltage cutoff.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated state-of-charge register.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the WINNER WG1 after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage cliff under modem or screen load, so the phone hits the hardware undervoltage cutoff well before the OS percentage reaches zero. The phone reads 25% but the cell has already dropped below the safe floor under load. One full discharge-charge cycle with the screen on forces the coulomb counter to relearn the new cell's actual voltage curve.

Phone won't power on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if voltage drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout to prevent damage. The phone will show nothing when you press the power button — no boot logo, no charging animation. Connect the phone to a low-current charger (a standard 5V wall adapter, not a fast charger) and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. Once the cell recovers above 3.0V, the BMS re-enables the output rail and the phone will respond normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My WINNER WG1 shows 30% battery then shuts off instantly — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is likely fine. The fuel gauge IC on the WG1 was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, and the new cell hits its voltage floor under load at a higher displayed percentage. Charge the phone to 100%, then let it drain completely until it shuts off on its own — do not top it up partway. After one full cycle like this, the coulomb counter recalibrates and the reported percentage lines up with the actual cell voltage.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted the replacement battery in my WG1 — now it only charges slowly.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the phone's charge IC defaults to a lower current rate while the BMS on the new cell authenticates with the charge controller. This is normal. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown and then charge uninterrupted to 100% — after that cycle, fast charging protocols re-engage as the BMS and charge IC have completed their handshake on the new cell.

The WG1 feels warm near the battery area while charging the new cell — should I stop?

Some warmth is expected when a charge IC pushes current into a new cell with slightly higher impedance than a broken-in cell. If the phone is warm but not hot to the touch and charging completes normally, there is no fault. If the back becomes too hot to hold comfortably, disconnect and let it cool, then charge at a lower wattage adapter (5V 1A) for the first full cycle to reduce heat while the cell's internal resistance settles.
