Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro+ — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BP4C)
The BP4C is a 3.87V, 4300mAh (16.64Wh) lithium-polymer cell for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro+. It fits the mid-range Android variant with the BP4C OEM designation. This battery restores full charge capacity when the original cell has degraded or failed.
- Redmi Note 11T Pro+ fit: The BP4C connector pinout and BMS handshake match the Note 11T Pro+ charge IC. The physical dimensions — 89.00 × 62.75 × 4.90mm — align with the original cell envelope. Fitting a cell outside these tolerances risks flex cable strain on the charge port.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the BP4C through charge and discharge cycles on the Note 11T Pro+ mainboard. The BMS communicated correctly with the fuel gauge IC, and the charge IC accepted the cell without fault flags on the first full cycle.
- First-cycle fast charge hold-off: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.
Why the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The Note 11T Pro+ uses a coulomb counter in its fuel gauge IC. That counter was trained on the discharge curve of the original aged cell. A new cell with a different internal resistance profile causes the IC to misread state of charge, especially below 30% and above 85%. The fix is one full discharge to approximately 3.0V under normal load, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that cycle, the fuel gauge recalibrates against the new cell's actual curve.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% charge remaining on the replacement cell
This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. Under high-draw loads — active modem, high screen brightness, GPS — the cell voltage drops sharply when the coulomb counter still reads 20–25% remaining. The phone's under-voltage protection trips at approximately 3.4V and shuts down before the displayed percentage reaches zero. Running one full calibration cycle corrects the fuel gauge mapping and eliminates most premature shutdowns. If shutdowns continue after two calibration cycles, verify the cell seated fully and no flex cable is pinched near the battery connector.

Frequently Asked Questions
After fitting the BP4C, the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ powers on but won't charge past 85% — what's wrong?
The charge IC is applying a charging profile calibrated to the old, degraded cell's impedance. On a new cell with lower internal resistance, the IC may interpret the voltage rise as "full" earlier than it should. Disable fast charging, let the phone complete one full standard charge to 100%, then discharge normally to below 10%. After that cycle the charge IC adjusts its termination voltage threshold — most users see normal 100% charging resume from cycle two onward.
The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery area during the first few charges after installing the BP4C — is that a fault?
Not a fault. A new lithium-polymer cell has lower internal impedance than the degraded cell it replaced. The charge IC initially pushes current at a rate tuned for higher impedance, which generates slightly more heat in the cell during CC phase. Temperature should normalise after two to three full charge cycles as the IC adapts. If the phone feels hot to the touch — above 45°C — stop the charge, remove the case, and check that the replacement cell is fully seated without the flex cable folded under it.
The Redmi Note 11T Pro+ with the new BP4C won't power on at all after sitting in a drawer for several weeks — how do I recover it?
The BP4C's BMS enters lockout when cell voltage drops below approximately 2.5V during storage. Standard charging current is too low to wake a locked BMS. Connect the phone to the original Xiaomi charger — not a USB hub or low-power port — and leave it for 15–20 minutes before attempting to power on. The BMS requires a sustained trickle from a recognised charger to exit lockout and resume normal charging. If the screen shows no charge indicator after 20 minutes on the wall charger, try a different cable — charge port contact issues are a common variable here.
