Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Yealink CP700 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (YLPP102427C700WVDL)
This is a 3.7V 600mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Yealink CP700 portable conference speakerphone. It fits the CP700 directly and matches the OEM part number YLPP102427C700WVDL. Install it when the original cell no longer holds a charge or the unit shuts down mid-call.
- CP700 platform fit: The CP700 uses a compact Li-Polymer cell to keep the unit portable across meeting spaces. This pack matches the original connector, physical dimensions (30.40 × 24.00 × 9.60mm), and BMS handshake voltage thresholds the CP700 firmware expects at startup.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the CP700 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without triggering a protection fault, and the unit powered on and held a call session without dropping to low-battery cutoff prematurely.
- First-session calibration tip: After installing, run one complete charge cycle before the first meeting. The CP700 maps battery state against voltage thresholds during normal operation — a fresh cell that hasn't been cycled yet may cause the indicator to report inaccurate warnings until that first full cycle completes.
Battery indicator showing wrong level after installation
The CP700 estimates charge level by reading cell voltage against a stored discharge curve. A new pack ships at partial charge, so its resting voltage doesn't match any point on that curve cleanly. This causes the indicator to jump or show an incorrect percentage for the first session. Charge the unit fully from flat once — the system re-anchors its voltage map at 4.2V full and tracks accurately from there.
CP700 not turning on after battery swap
Replacement packs can arrive in deep-storage state with cell voltage below 3.0V. The CP700's BMS reads this as a fault condition and blocks startup to protect the cell from an unsafe charge spike. Connect the unit to its charger and leave it for at least 20 minutes before pressing power — the charger applies a low-current trickle that brings the cell above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 3.2V, before switching to normal charge rate.

Frequently Asked Questions
The CP700 keeps cutting out mid-conference even with a new battery installed — what's causing it?
The CP700 draws current simultaneously for audio processing and its wireless link, and that combined load can pull cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold on a pack that hasn't been fully conditioned yet. This triggers a protection shutdown that looks like a random drop-out but is actually a voltage sag event. Run one full charge cycle first, then retest — a fully cycled cell holds voltage more stably under that combined draw. If cutouts continue, check that the pack contacts are fully seated; a loose connection adds resistance that worsens sag under load.
The charging dock isn't registering the new battery — the charge LED won't come on at all.
Dock contact resistance is the most common cause. Wipe both the pack contacts and the dock pins with a dry cloth to clear any oxidation or residue, then reseat the unit firmly. If the LED still doesn't activate, check that the cell voltage hasn't dropped below 2.5V during storage — at that level some docks won't initiate a charge cycle. Connect via USB charge cable directly to the CP700 instead of the dock; this bypasses dock contact issues and lets the unit's internal charger begin trickle charging the cell back up from deep discharge.
The CP700 gets noticeably warm during long conference calls — is that a battery issue?
Sustained audio and wireless operation over an extended session produces continuous current draw, and heat is a normal byproduct of that load in the CP700's enclosed housing. A degraded original cell generates more heat than a fresh one because internal resistance rises as cells age, and a replacement pack with lower internal resistance will run cooler under the same load. If the unit still gets hot with the new battery, confirm the ventilation slots on the housing aren't obstructed — blocked airflow traps heat regardless of cell condition.
