Fits ZTE Grand Memo, V9815, U9815, N5 and replaces Li3832T43P3h965844 or Li3834T43P3h965844.
3.8V 3200mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full capacity to a degraded Grand Memo battery.
Connector slides onto the factory contact pads with a single locking tab on the left edge.
We bench-tested the cell against a stock charger; BMS accepted charge current without fault codes and held voltage stable under load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZTE Grand Memo / N5 Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (Li3832T43P3h965844)

This is a 3.8V, 3200mAh lithium-polymer battery that replaces the original cell in the ZTE Grand Memo, V9815, U9815, N5, and compatible variants. Capacity is 12.16Wh. It matches the OEM footprint at 95.58 × 57.15 × 4.16 mm and uses the same connector orientation as the factory cell.

  • Grand Memo / N5 platform fit: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, voltage rail, and connector pinout. The BMS in each device handshakes against the same 3.8V nominal spec, so one cell covers the full compatibility list without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Grand Memo platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, charge current ramped correctly through CC/CV stages, and cutoff triggered cleanly at the low-voltage threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after install: On first use, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC one full reference cycle against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Grand Memo after a cell swap

The Grand Memo's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve learned from the original cell. A new cell has a steeper voltage cliff at low charge — the phone sees the voltage drop and interprets it as 0%, triggering an emergency shutdown even though the percentage shown was 20–30%. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% rewrites the fuel gauge reference. After that cycle, percentage reporting stabilises and early shutdowns stop.

Phone won't power on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-polymer cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent damage and will not allow normal charging current. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.8–3.0V, at which point the BMS unlocks and normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ZTE Grand Memo shows 25% battery and then shuts off without warning — is the replacement cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the Grand Memo calibrated its shutdown threshold against the original cell's discharge curve, and the new cell has a different voltage profile at low charge. The phone interprets the voltage drop as empty and cuts power. Run one full discharge cycle to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption — the fuel gauge rewrites its reference curve and the premature shutdowns stop.

Fast charging stopped working on my Grand Memo after fitting this battery — it only trickle charges now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge controller defaults to a conservative current limit until it completes one full CC/CV charge cycle with the new cell. This is normal behaviour, not a fault. Let the phone charge fully from near-empty to 100% once without unplugging early. After that reference cycle, the charge IC accepts normal current levels and fast charging resumes on subsequent cycles.

The battery percentage on my Grand Memo jumps around erratically — it reads 60%, then skips to 45%, then back to 55%.

Erratic percentage jumps after a cell replacement point to the coulomb counter recalibrating against an unfamiliar cell. The Grand Memo's fuel gauge IC tracks charge state by counting current in and out — after a cell change it has no accurate baseline. Discharge the phone fully until it shuts itself off, then charge in one uninterrupted session to 100%. The coulomb counter locks onto the new cell's full capacity and percentage readings stabilise at that point.
