Fits ZTE Grand S Flex and replaces OEM battery part numbers Li3823T43P3h715345 and Li3820T43P3h715345.
Nominal voltage 3.8V at 2300mAh capacity delivers 8.74Wh total energy to power the processor, display, and modem.
Connector accepts the ZTE proprietary slot with flat positive terminal and mechanical locking tab aligned vertical.
We bench-tested this cell at 500mA discharge into the fuel gauge IC; BMS accepted the new pack on cold insert without lockout.
On first full charge after installation, disable fast charging for one complete cycle so the coulomb counter recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZTE Grand S Flex / MF910 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (Li3823T43P3h715345)

This is a 3.8V, 2300mAh Li-Polymer cell replacing OEM part Li3823T43P3h715345 and Li3820T43P3h715345. It fits the ZTE Grand S Flex smartphone and the MF910, MF910 4G LTE, and MF920 mobile hotspot series. Swap it when the original cell no longer holds a charge through a normal day.

  • Grand S Flex and MF910 platform compatibility: These devices share the same 3.8V battery bay dimensions and connector pinout — 71.16 × 52.05 × 4.35mm — so one cell covers both the smartphone and the hotspot variants. The BMS handshake on each device accepts the same charge profile.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and load discharge on the Grand S Flex. The BMS held charge termination correctly at 4.35V and triggered low-voltage cutoff without false trips under steady display and modem load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated counter.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve from the old degraded cell. When the new cell hits a voltage point that the old curve mapped to 20–30%, the OS sees a cliff and forces shutdown — even though real capacity remains. The fix is one full uninterrupted discharge to auto-off, then a full charge without interruption. After that cycle, the coulomb counter resets against the new cell's actual curve and percentage readings stabilise.

USB fast charge not accepted on the first cycle after fitting

On the first cycle, the charge IC on the Grand S Flex may not negotiate the fast-charge protocol with a new high-impedance cell — it defaults to standard 5V/1A as a safety fallback. This is normal BMS behaviour, not a fault with the cell. Let the first full charge complete at standard rate. Fast charge negotiation typically resumes correctly from the second cycle onward once the BMS confirms cell impedance is within range.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ZTE Grand S Flex shuts off at around 25% battery — does the replacement cell have a fault?

No fault in the cell. The fuel gauge IC on the Grand S Flex was calibrated to the old degraded cell's discharge curve, so when the new cell's voltage hits the point the old curve mapped to ~25%, the OS interprets it as a cliff and forces shutdown. Run one full uninterrupted discharge to auto-off followed by a full uninterrupted charge. That single cycle resets the coulomb counter against the new cell and eliminates the premature shutdown.

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat unused for several months — is it dead?

The cell almost certainly discharged below the BMS lockout threshold of around 2.5V during storage. At that voltage, the BMS blocks current flow to protect the cell from damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC delivers a low-current trickle that brings the cell back above the lockout threshold, after which the BMS re-initialises and normal charging resumes.

The phone feels warm near the battery while charging the new cell — is the charge IC overloading it?

Mild warmth on the first few charges is expected. A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more energy as heat during constant-current phase. This settles after three to five cycles as the cell's impedance drops. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or charging halts with an error, check that the charger output does not exceed 5V/2A for standard charging on this platform.
