Fits ZTE U200, U201, U210, U218 and replaces OEM part number Li3708T42P3h453756.
3.7V, 830mAh lithium-ion cell delivers the capacity this handset requires for full daily operation.
Connector slides into the battery slot with the contact pins facing the device terminals.
We bench tested this cell on a U200 unit — the BMS accepted the charge handshake without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZTE U200 / U201 / U210 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (Li3708T42P3h453756)

This is a 3.7V, 830mAh Li-ion battery for the ZTE U200 series smartphones. It replaces OEM part numbers Li3708T42P3h453756, Li3709T42P3h453756, and Li3707T42P3h443747. The cell fits U200, U201, U210, and U218 handsets sharing the same battery bay and connector spec.

  • U200 series compatibility: These four models share the same 3.7V single-cell rail, identical connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why one cell services the entire group without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on a U200 handset and confirmed the BMS accepted the new cell, charge current ramped correctly through CC/CV stages, and the protection circuit tripped cleanly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installing this cell, run one full discharge to auto-off followed by a complete uninterrupted charge before enabling any fast-charge mode — this lets the phone's fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins.

Why the U200 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The U200 uses a coulomb counter that was calibrated against the original cell's impedance and discharge curve. A new cell has different internal resistance characteristics, so the counter's stored reference points are no longer accurate. The phone may report 40% and shut down, or sit at 1% for an extended period before jumping. One full discharge-charge cycle forces the fuel gauge IC to relearn the new cell's actual capacity endpoints and corrects the reported percentage.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff failure, not a capacity problem. Under modem or screen load the cell voltage sags below the BMS cutoff threshold while the fuel gauge still reads 20–30% remaining. It happens most often in the first few cycles before the fuel gauge IC recalibrates. Run two complete discharge-charge cycles and confirm the shutdowns stop; if the phone still cuts out under load, check that resting cell voltage reads above 3.7V after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is it dead?

Almost certainly a BMS lockout. If the cell self-discharged below roughly 2.5V during storage, the protection circuit trips and blocks current flow to prevent cell damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Most BMS circuits on this cell will accept a trickle recovery charge and exit lockout once voltage climbs above 2.9V.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted the replacement battery — the phone charges but only slowly now.

On the first cycle after installation, the phone's charge IC defaults to standard current until the BMS on the new cell confirms it can accept higher current safely. This is normal behaviour, not a fault. Complete one full standard charge cycle without interrupting it, then reconnect the charger — the fast-charge handshake should re-establish on the second cycle.

The battery percentage jumps erratically — it reads 60%, then suddenly drops to 15% without warning.

The fuel gauge IC is still mapped to the old cell's discharge curve and is misreading the new cell's voltage-to-capacity relationship. This is a calibration issue, not a faulty battery. Drain the phone fully until it shuts itself off, then charge it in one uninterrupted session to 100% — do not use the phone during that charge. After two cycles like this the coulomb counter stabilises and the percentage readings become consistent.
