A charging error on a fresh pack almost always comes down to dock contact resistance, not a faulty battery. Oxidation or debris on the pack's gold contacts breaks the charge circuit before current even flows. Wipe the contacts on both the pack and the cradle with a dry cloth, then reseat the scanner firmly. If the error clears within 30 seconds of reseating, contact resistance was the cause — not the cell.

The TR1200 draws power simultaneously from its radio module and scan trigger during fast barcode capture — these two loads spike together. When the cell voltage sags under combined inrush, the radio drops its connection before the BMS trips. This is not a wireless fault.
