This is a 2.4V, 450mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Brondi EURO and EURO-LCD cordless handsets. It slots into the handset battery compartment and restores power to units where the original cell no longer holds a usable charge. Voltage and physical dimensions match the original: 41.97 × 18.26 × 8.89mm.

On the first cycle, you may notice noticeably shorter talk time — this is the cells conditioning, not a fault. Each subsequent cycle adds capacity until the pack stabilises at the rated 450mAh. Run the handset down fully and recharge completely for three cycles to confirm the pack is performing correctly.

NiMH batteries lose voltage during storage and can arrive below the threshold the base station uses to detect a valid pack. If the charge indicator stays off or shows an error, remove the handset and reseat it firmly — contact resistance at the charging pins is a common cause. If the indicator still fails to respond, let the handset sit in the base for 30 minutes without moving it; the base charger will typically resume once voltage climbs above the acceptance threshold of around 2.0V.
