Fits Ericsson DT390 cordless phone handset, replaces OEM part numbers BKB201010/1, FA01302005, and FA83601195.
Delivers 3.7V and 650mAh capacity — this lithium-ion pack restores full talk and standby time to aged DT390 handsets on DECT systems.
Connector slides into the handset battery slot vertically with a single locking tab; seat it fully until you hear the clip engage.
We bench-tested this cell on a DT390 base charger — the BMS accepted charge current immediately with no fault signals or cutoff errors.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour initial charge before taking calls — DT390 DECT pairing can drop if power is removed during setup.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ericsson DT390 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BKB201010/1)

This is a 3.7V, 650mAh lithium-ion battery for the Ericsson DT390 cordless DECT handset. It replaces OEM part numbers BKB201010/1, FA01302005, and FA83601195. The DT390 is a business-grade DECT phone — this battery slots directly into the handset compartment and connects to the same BMS interface as the factory cell.

  • DT390 handset fitment: The DT390 uses a slim single-cell Li-ion pack at 3.7V nominal. The base station charges via a contact pad on the handset cradle, and the BMS inside the battery manages cutoff voltage so the base charger circuit sees the correct charge acceptance signal.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the DT390 platform. The BMS held cutoff at the correct thresholds and the base station registered a clean charge state without error codes throughout testing.
  • First-charge protocol for the DT390: After fitting the new battery, seat the handset in the base cradle and leave it for a full uninterrupted charge cycle before making calls. Li-ion cells shipped in storage state need one complete charge to calibrate the BMS fuel gauge to the DT390's charge controller.

Talk time shorter than expected after fitting the new battery

A new Li-ion cell shipped from storage may not hit full rated capacity on the first cycle. The BMS fuel gauge in the DT390 calibrates itself against actual charge and discharge data — it takes two to three full cycles before the reading stabilises. If talk time is still short after three full charge and discharge cycles, check that the handset contacts and base cradle contacts are clean and making firm connection. Dirty contacts cause trickle charging instead of a full charge current, leaving the cell partially filled.

Base station showing no charge or refusing to charge the new battery

A Li-ion cell sitting in storage can drop below the base station's minimum charge acceptance voltage. The DT390 base charger circuit checks cell voltage before applying charge current — if the cell reads too low, the base treats it as a fault and will not begin charging. Remove the battery, wait 30 seconds, refit it firmly, and reseat the handset in the cradle. If the base still shows no charge, measure the battery terminal voltage with a multimeter — a healthy Li-ion cell should read at least 3.0V at rest before the base will accept it.

Frequently Asked Questions

My DT390 handset lost its pairing with the base after I swapped the battery — how do I get it back?

Removing the battery cuts all power to the DT390 handset, and some DECT phones drop their pairing data when power is fully lost. The fix is to re-register the handset to the base using the pairing or registration procedure in the DT390 user guide — typically held from the base station menu. Do this with the new battery fitted and the handset charged to above 3.5V before starting the pairing sequence.

The DT390 battery drains completely overnight even when it's sitting in the base — what's causing that?

This points to the handset not making full contact with the base cradle charging pins, not a battery fault. If the handset sits slightly off-angle, the base sees an open circuit and never applies charge current — the handset runs on battery in standby all night. Reseat the handset firmly, check that the cradle contacts are free of dust or corrosion, and confirm the base power LED shows an active charge state within 30 seconds of docking.

The DT390 cuts out mid-call and the handset screen goes blank — is this a battery or a range issue?

Mid-call dropout on the DT390 is usually a voltage sag problem, not range. Under RF transmit load, a partially charged or degraded Li-ion cell can sag below the handset's minimum operating voltage, triggering an immediate shutdown. Check the battery voltage at rest with a multimeter — it should sit above 3.6V after a full charge cycle. If the resting voltage is correct but dropout still happens, clean the handset-to-base contacts and run two full charge and discharge cycles to let the BMS recalibrate its cutoff threshold.
