Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Swissvoice ePure / ePure fulleco DUO / L7 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (043048)
This 3.7V, 650mAh lithium-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Swissvoice ePure, ePure fulleco DUO, and L7 cordless DECT handsets. It matches OEM part numbers 043048 and SV20405855. When your handset no longer holds a charge or powers on fully, this is the direct swap.
- ePure, ePure fulleco DUO, and L7 compatibility: All three handsets share the same 3.7V Li-ion cell format, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why one battery part number covers the full range. Swapping across these models carries no risk of voltage mismatch or communication error with the base station.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through charge and discharge on the ePure platform. The BMS held the cutoff voltage correctly, accepted charge from a standard base cradle without triggering error states, and maintained stable standby draw through multiple cycles.
- First-charge protocol for Li-ion cordless handsets: After installing, seat the handset in the base cradle and leave it for a full uninterrupted charge before first use. Li-ion cells shipped in storage state need one complete charge cycle to let the BMS calibrate its state-of-charge register accurately — skipping this causes the handset to report incorrect battery level from day one.
Talk time shorter than expected on the ePure after a battery swap
A freshly installed Li-ion cell ships partially discharged and with an uncalibrated BMS. The handset reads state-of-charge from the BMS register, not from a live voltage measurement — so if the register hasn't been set by a full charge cycle, the phone will both underestimate remaining capacity and cut off early. Run two or three full charge-to-discharge cycles through the base cradle. After the third cycle, the BMS register stabilises and talk time reaches the rated capacity of 650mAh.
Handset not pairing with base after battery replacement
Removing the battery from a DECT handset drops power to the DECT module, which can flush the pairing record stored in volatile memory on some ePure variants. The handset comes back up with no registered base, so it sits idle rather than connecting. To re-pair, hold the handset's page or register button while pressing the pairing button on the base unit — the exact sequence is printed on the underside of the base. Once paired, the handset retains the registration even through future battery swaps as long as the new battery is inserted before power is fully lost.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Swissvoice ePure base light stays red and won't switch to green after I fitted the new battery — what's wrong?
A Li-ion cell shipped from storage can sit below the voltage threshold the ePure base uses to confirm a valid battery is present. The base holds the red charging indicator until the cell clears that threshold, which can take 20–40 minutes of initial charge before the indicator switches. Leave the handset seated in the cradle undisturbed. If the light hasn't changed after 60 minutes, reseat the battery connector to rule out a contact fault — the cell voltage needs to read above 3.0V before the base accepts it as charging normally.
The ePure handset drains completely overnight even though it's sitting in the base — is the battery faulty?
This is almost always a seating issue, not a faulty cell. The ePure base charges through contact pins on the handset's spine — if the handset is slightly forward or tilted, the pins don't make full contact and the handset runs on battery in standby rather than drawing from the base. Place the handset squarely into the cradle until you hear or feel it click into position, then check that the charge indicator lights immediately. If the handset still drains overnight after confirming proper seating, check that the base power adapter is fully plugged in at both the wall and the base jack.
After I replaced the battery, the ePure signal drops and calls cut out near the edge of my house — did the battery affect the range?
RF transmit power in DECT handsets runs directly from the battery voltage rail. A Li-ion cell that hasn't completed its first full charge cycle will sag under the brief current spikes the DECT radio draws during transmission, pulling the voltage low enough to trigger a range reduction or dropped call. This isn't a permanent fault. Run the handset through two complete charge cycles on the base cradle — charge fully, use until the low-battery warning sounds, then charge fully again. After the second cycle, transmit power stabilises and range returns to normal.
