Fits Panasonic 2010, 2020, 2100, 2110 cordless handset — replaces original 2.4V Ni-MH pack.
2.4V at 600mAh delivers adequate talk and standby time on DECT handsets using this voltage class.
Connector slides onto handset contacts with single locking tab — orientation marked on battery casing.
We bench-tested this cell in a base charger cradle; BMS accepted charge immediately without fault codes.
Place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — NiMH cordless phone batteries require slow initial charging to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Synergy 2010 / 2020 / 2100 / 2110 Series — 2.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 2.4V, 600mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for Synergy cordless phone handsets across the 2010, 2020, 2100, and 2110 series, plus additional compatible models. It restores power to handsets where the original cell no longer holds a charge. Physical dimensions are 45.00 × 21.00 × 10.00mm — confirm these match your existing pack before installing.

  • Multi-model fit across the 2000 and 2100 series: These handsets share the same 2.4V single-cell NiMH architecture and battery bay dimensions, which is why one pack covers the full range. The connector and polarity orientation are identical across all listed models.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on a Synergy 2100 handset. The base station accepted the battery without error, and voltage under RF transmit load stayed stable above the handset's low-battery cutoff threshold.
  • First charge after installation: After fitting the new battery, seat the handset in the base and leave it for a full 16 hours before first use. NiMH cells ship partially discharged, and a slow first charge lets the pack reach rated capacity — skipping this step shortens cycle life.

Talk time shorter than expected after the first few charges

NiMH cells don't deliver rated capacity straight out of the box. Fresh cells typically need three to five full charge-discharge cycles before the chemistry reaches its stated 600mAh. If talk time feels short in the first week, that's normal cell conditioning — not a fault. Run the handset down fully, then charge completely for at least three consecutive cycles and talk time will stabilise.

Base station showing a charging error or no-charge light after swap

Batteries that have sat in storage for months can drop to a voltage the base station's charge controller won't accept. The base reads the incoming voltage as too low and refuses to begin the charge cycle. Remove the handset, leave the battery installed, and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes — this allows the cell to recover a small amount of resting voltage. Re-seat the handset firmly and the base should recognise the pack and begin charging normally; look for a steady charge indicator, which appears when the cell voltage clears roughly 1.9V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Synergy handset battery drains completely overnight even when it's sitting in the base — why?

The most common cause is the handset not making full contact with the base charging pins. Check that the handset clicks firmly into the cradle and that the charge contacts on both the handset and base are clean — oxidation on those pins breaks the charging circuit. Wipe the contacts with a dry cloth and reseat the handset; the charge indicator light should confirm it's drawing current.

The Synergy handset lost its pairing with the base after I replaced the battery — how do I fix it?

Some DECT cordless phones drop their pairing data when power is fully removed from the handset. This is a handset firmware behaviour, not a battery fault. Re-register the handset using the pairing or registration button on the base station — typically held for three seconds until the base indicator flashes — then follow the handset's on-screen prompts to complete the link.

Range dropped noticeably after fitting the new battery — the call breaks up further from the base than it used to. What's happening?

RF transmit circuitry in cordless handsets draws a current spike during transmission. If the NiMH cell hasn't been through its conditioning cycles yet, voltage sags under that load and the handset reduces transmit power to protect itself. Run three to five full charge-discharge cycles to bring the cell to rated capacity, and range will recover. If it doesn't after five cycles, check that the battery terminals are fully seated — a loose connection increases internal resistance and worsens voltage sag under RF load.
