Fits Meiller isar-control 3 and isar-control wireless remote controls for crane and hoist operation.
3.7V 3000mAh Li-Polymer delivers full voltage signature needed for solenoid activation and button response.
Connector orientation matches OEM housing; no modification to locking tab or slot required.
We bench-tested this cell in a live isar-control 3 unit; BMS accepted the charge handshake cleanly on first insertion.
On crane remotes sitting idle between shifts, charge this battery monthly — deep discharge below 2.5V locks the BMS and blocks recovery even with a charger connected.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Meiller isar-control 3 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery

This 3.7V 3000mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original battery in the Meiller isar-control 3 and isar-control crane remote controls. These remotes operate industrial cranes and hoisting equipment wirelessly, so a dead battery stops lifting operations until the cell is swapped. Dimensions are 68.00 × 36.00 × 10.00mm — verify these against your existing cell before ordering.

  • isar-control 3 and isar-control compatibility: Both remotes run a single Li-Polymer cell on the same 3.7V rail with the same physical footprint and connector orientation. One cell covers both units without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell under the switching loads typical of crane remote solenoid activation. The BMS held steady through repeated inrush events without tripping the protection circuit.
  • Idle-period charge maintenance: Crane remotes often sit unused for weeks between jobs. If the cell drops below 2.5V during storage, the BMS enters deep-discharge lockout and the remote will not power on. Connect the charger for at least 30 minutes before first use after any extended idle period to bring the cell above the BMS recovery threshold.

Power dropout during solenoid or relay activation on the isar-control 3

Solenoid activation pulls a short inrush current spike that a depleted or undersized cell cannot sustain. When the voltage sags below the BMS cutoff threshold during that spike, the remote drops out mid-operation. This cell's 3000mAh capacity provides the current headroom needed to absorb that inrush without triggering the protection circuit. Always start crane operations with a fully charged cell — a cell at 50% charge has measurably less headroom against inrush spikes.

isar-control 3 showing low-battery warning immediately after installing a new cell

Cells ship at storage voltage, typically around 3.6V — just below the threshold the isar-control 3 firmware uses to clear the low-battery flag. The remote is not faulty and the cell is not defective. Plug the remote into the charger and bring the cell to a full charge before use. Once voltage reaches approximately 4.1–4.2V, the warning clears and the remote operates normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Meiller isar-control 3 won't turn on at all after sitting in the site cabin for two months — is the battery dead or is it the remote?

This is almost always BMS lockout from deep discharge, not a remote fault. When a Li-Polymer cell drops below 2.5V, the protection circuit cuts output entirely and the remote shows no signs of life. Connect the charger and leave it for 30–60 minutes — this trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold. If the remote powers on after that initial charge, the cell and remote are both fine.

The crane remote cuts out for a split second when I press a function button, then comes back — what's causing that?

That momentary dropout is the BMS tripping on inrush current when a solenoid or relay activates. It happens most often when the cell is partially discharged, because internal resistance rises as capacity depletes and the voltage sag during the current spike becomes large enough to hit the BMS cutoff. Charge the battery fully before starting a shift and the dropout should stop. If it continues at full charge, the cell has aged past its usable capacity and needs replacement.

The isar-control 3 low-battery indicator stays on even though I just put in a new battery — did I get a faulty cell?

New cells ship at storage voltage, around 3.5–3.6V, which sits below the threshold the isar-control 3 uses to clear the low-battery flag. The cell is not faulty — it just needs a full charge before first use. Connect the remote to its charger until the charge cycle completes and the cell reaches approximately 4.1–4.2V. The low-battery indicator will clear once voltage crosses that threshold.
