This is an 18V, 2500mAh (45Wh) Li-ion battery for the Bosch Indego robotic lawn mower range. It fits the Indego 350, Indego 400, Indego S+ 350, and Indego S+ 400, along with eleven additional Indego variants. The voltage rail, cell count, and connector match the OEM specification for these models.

The mower stops, the dock shows a fault, and reinserting the battery clears it. Keeping the pack at room temperature before a heavy mowing session reduces inrush-related trips, because warm Li-ion cells have lower internal resistance and handle the current spike more cleanly.

Charger refusing to accept the pack after winter storage

If the Indego sat in an unheated garage all winter, the battery may have self-discharged below the charger's minimum acceptance voltage — typically around 10–12V for an 18V pack. The dock sees the pack as faulty and won't initiate a charge cycle. To recover it, place the battery indoors at room temperature for two to three hours, then retry the dock. If the pack still won't accept a charge after warming, the cells have likely dropped below recovery threshold and the battery needs replacing.
