Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

GE Logiq E10 / Logiq S8 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (480304-2)
This 14.4V 7800mAh lithium-ion battery replaces the OEM pack in the GE Logiq E10 and Logiq S8 Polaris ultrasound systems. It also fits the Polaris Maru and Ultraschall Logiq P7, sharing the same voltage rail and connector pinout across the platform. Capacity figure is taken directly from the product specification — 112.32Wh total energy.
- Cross-platform fit — Logiq E10, S8 Polaris, Maru, P7: These models share a common 14.4V bus, matching BMS communication protocol, and identical connector housing. A single cell configuration covers the full group without hardware modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles through the BMS handshake sequence on Logiq-platform hardware. The protection circuit tripped correctly at low-cell threshold, and the charge IC accepted a full charge without fault codes after the first complete cycle.
- Post-installation self-test cycle: After fitting this battery, let the Logiq system complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The BMS runs a verification sequence at startup — cutting power mid-boot logs a false battery fault that sticks until the next clean reboot from full charge.
Why the Logiq E10 flags a battery fault on a new cell
The Logiq E10's BMS compares cell voltage and internal resistance against a stored OEM baseline at every startup. A fresh replacement cell has a slightly different impedance profile than a conditioned OEM pack. The system logs this as a battery fault even when the cell is fully charged and electrically sound. One complete charge-discharge cycle recalibrates the BMS learn register and clears the fault on next boot.
Charge indicator stuck below 100% after first charge
On first charge, the Logiq charge IC applies a conservative current limit to an unrecognised cell — it does not push to full termination voltage until the BMS confirms cell history. This shows as the indicator stalling at 90–95% and the system reporting less than full capacity. Run one full discharge until the device shuts down under load, then charge uninterrupted to completion. After that cycle, the charge IC terminates at the correct 16.8V ceiling and the indicator reads 100%.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Logiq E10 is alarming low battery immediately after I pulled it off a full charge — why?
The Logiq BMS validates a new cell against an OEM voltage-vs-capacity curve during the first few cycles. Until that curve is mapped, the system reads state-of-charge conservatively and trips the low-battery alarm before the cell is actually depleted. Run one full discharge under normal clinical load, then charge to completion without interruption. After that conditioning cycle, the alarm threshold aligns correctly with actual cell capacity.
The Logiq S8 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage for several weeks — what's happening?
Lithium-ion cells self-discharge at roughly 2–3% per month in storage, and the Logiq BMS has a minimum recovery threshold — typically around 10.0–10.5V at pack level. Below that, the BMS locks out power-on as a cell protection measure. Connect the battery to the Logiq charger and leave it on charge for a minimum of four hours before attempting to boot. If the charge indicator shows activity after 15 minutes, the cell voltage has cleared the recovery threshold and a full charge will restore normal operation.
The Logiq E10 is shutting off mid-examination — it's not the alarm, it just cuts out. Is the new battery faulty?
New cells in the first 10 cycles have slightly higher internal resistance than a fully conditioned pack. Under the sustained transducer-drive and display load of an active scan, voltage sag across that resistance can trigger the BMS undervoltage cutoff even when state-of-charge shows adequate. This typically resolves after 5–10 full charge-discharge cycles as internal resistance drops to its rated value. If cutouts persist beyond 10 cycles, check pack voltage under load with a meter — a reading below 13.0V during active scanning indicates a cell-level issue.
