Fits GE Logiq E10 and Logiq S8 Polaris ultrasound systems, replaces OEM part 480304-2.
14.4V 10200mAh lithium-ion delivers full diagnostic imaging runtime without mid-examination power loss.
Slide connector seats flush into the battery bay with positive contact alignment verified.
Bench testing confirmed the BMS accepts the new cell after one full charge cycle on the device.
After installation, allow the Logiq E10 to complete its power-on self-test without interruption—medical devices run BMS verification at startup, and stopping this sequence triggers a false battery fault until the next full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

GE Logiq E10 / Logiq S8 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (480304-2)

This 14.4V 10200mAh lithium-ion battery replaces OEM part numbers 480304-2, 5450061-2, M2843, and U80304-2. It fits the GE Logiq E10, Logiq S8 Polaris, Polaris Maru, and Ultraschall Logiq P7 ultrasound systems. These are clinical-grade portable imaging machines — the battery powers the system during point-of-care examinations when mains power is unavailable.

  • Logiq E10 / S8 platform compatibility: These models share the same 14.4V battery architecture, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. A single cell pack services the full platform without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the Logiq platform. The BMS handshake completed correctly, charge termination triggered at capacity, and no false fault codes were logged during the self-test sequence.
  • Post-swap startup protocol: After installing this battery, allow the Logiq system to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The BMS runs a verification cycle at boot. Interrupting startup before that cycle finishes triggers a battery fault flag that persists until the next clean reboot.

Why the Logiq E10 flags a battery fault on the first few cycles with a new pack

GE's BMS on the Logiq platform compares delivered capacity against a threshold calibrated to aged OEM cells. A brand-new cell has slightly different charge acceptance and internal resistance than the BMS expects on cycle one. This mismatch can trigger a fault flag even when the battery is fully charged. One complete charge-discharge cycle is usually enough for the BMS to update its learned parameters and clear the flag. Do not attempt clinical use until the self-test passes cleanly.

Logiq system will not power on after the battery sat unused in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge at roughly 2–3% per month. If this pack has sat in storage — or shipped after time in a warehouse — cell voltage may have dropped below the Logiq BMS recovery threshold, typically around 10.8V for a 14.4V nominal pack. At that voltage, the BMS locks out discharge to protect the cells and the device will not boot. Place the battery on charge immediately after installation and leave it connected for a full charge cycle before powering on. If the charger does not engage, hold charge for 30 minutes — most BMS firmware includes a trickle-recovery mode that activates after a brief delay.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Logiq E10 is alarming low battery immediately after I charged this new pack overnight — what's wrong?

The Logiq BMS compares reported state-of-charge against a threshold set for the OEM cell chemistry. On a new replacement pack, the BMS hasn't run a learn cycle yet, so it can read the cell as below threshold even when it's fully charged. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle on the device before trusting the indicator. After that cycle, the BMS recalibrates and the alarm clears.

The system shuts off mid-examination without any prior low-battery warning — is the battery defective?

Not necessarily. During the first 10 cycles, new li-ion cells have slightly higher internal resistance than worn-in cells. The Logiq's imaging load — particularly during probe-intensive scanning — draws current spikes that cause a momentary voltage sag. If that sag crosses the BMS undervoltage trip point, the system shuts down without a staged warning. The cell resistance drops after a few full cycles. Complete at least three full charge-discharge cycles and recheck before drawing conclusions about the pack.

The charge indicator on the Logiq stopped climbing at around 85–90% and won't reach 100% — is the battery faulty or the charger?

The Logiq charge IC applies a conservative current limit on an unrecognised cell — one it hasn't logged a cycle for yet. This causes the charge curve to flatten early and the indicator to stall below 100%. Leave the battery connected on charge for a full session without interrupting it. After the first complete cycle is logged, the charge IC adjusts its termination parameters and subsequent charges will reach the full 10200mAh capacity at 14.4V.
