Fits Franklin Wireless T10 and RT410 hotspot models, replacing OEM battery V635061P and RT410/T10.
Voltage 3.8V, capacity 3700mAh — delivers full runtime on this lithium-polymer cell for mobile use.
Connector slides into the battery bay with a single locking tab; orient the contact side toward the device motherboard.
We bench-tested this cell in the T10 with the modem and WiFi radio active simultaneously; the BMS held stable voltage under combined load without early cutoff.
During extended sessions with multiple connected devices, keep the hotspot in open air — the cellular radio draws maximum power in weak signal areas and generates heat that degrades this chemistry faster than cool-down cycles allow.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Franklin Wireless T10 / RT410 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (V635061P)

This 3.8V, 3700mAh lithium-polymer battery fits the Franklin Wireless T10 and RT410 mobile hotspot. It replaces OEM part V635061P directly. Use it to restore full operation when the original cell has degraded or stopped holding a charge.

  • T10 and RT410 compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — 65.50 × 53.60 × 6.90mm cell with a matched voltage rail at 3.8V nominal. One cell fits both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through the T10's full charge and discharge sequence. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, completed a full charge cycle, and held stable voltage under simultaneous WiFi and LTE radio load.
  • Ventilation during extended sessions: Keep the hotspot in an open, ventilated spot when running extended sessions. When connected devices are far from the hotspot, the cellular radio ramps to maximum transmit power — that sustained output generates heat that accelerates cell wear faster than normal portable use.

Hotspot disconnecting users mid-session on a new battery

When the T10 is at maximum connected clients, the combined draw from the WiFi radio and LTE modem can spike the current demand sharply. If the cell's internal resistance is elevated — even in a new but improperly stored battery — voltage sags momentarily below the BMS cutoff threshold. The hotspot firmware interprets this as a brownout and drops the WiFi broadcast to protect the modem. Check that the replacement cell reads at least 3.6V before first install; a cell below that threshold may trip the BMS under load before it has had a full charge cycle.

T10 not powering on after sitting unused for several weeks

Li-polymer cells self-discharge slowly during storage — the T10's standby drain accelerates this further if the device was left partially powered. Once the cell drops below roughly 3.0V, the BMS locks out normal boot to prevent damage to the cell. Connect the hotspot to a wall charger, not a USB port, and leave it for at least 20 minutes before attempting to power on. If the charge LED does not activate within five minutes, disconnect and reconnect the charger once to reset the BMS re-initialisation sequence.

Frequently Asked Questions

My T10 drops all connected devices for a few seconds and then reconnects — is that a battery fault?

That dropout pattern is consistent with voltage sag under peak radio load. When multiple devices are connected and the LTE signal is weak, the modem and WiFi radios pull current simultaneously, causing a brief voltage dip that trips the BMS. Confirm the replacement cell is fully charged before testing — a partial charge raises internal resistance and makes the sag worse. If dropouts continue at full charge, check that the battery connector is fully seated; a loose contact amplifies the voltage drop at the BMS sense pin.

Battery on the T10 drains noticeably faster when I'm in a low-signal area — is the new battery defective?

The battery is behaving normally — this is the cellular radio, not the cell. The T10's LTE modem increases transmit power automatically when signal is weak, and that higher output draws significantly more current from the battery than it does in a strong-signal area. The drain rate can roughly double in a one-bar versus four-bar environment. Move the hotspot closer to a window or an exterior wall to improve signal, which brings the modem's transmit power back down and extends battery endurance between charges.

The T10 won't turn on after I replaced the battery — the charge LED just blinks once and goes off.

A single blink followed by shutdown usually means the replacement cell arrived below the minimum boot voltage and the BMS is blocking startup. Plug the hotspot into a wall charger and wait 15–20 minutes without pressing the power button — the charger pre-conditions the cell through the BMS before normal charging begins. If the LED stays dark after 20 minutes, unplug, wait 30 seconds, and reconnect; this clears the BMS latch state. Once the LED holds steady, allow a full charge cycle before powering on — the cell should read at least 3.6V at the terminals.
