Fits Yeacomm P21 4G hotspot and replaces OEM part Z2200B.
3.7V 2600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers the capacity needed to power the modem and Wi-Fi radio simultaneously.
Connector slides straight onto the battery contact pins with a single locking tab at the base.
We bench-tested this cell in the P21 chassis; the BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault codes.
Keep the hotspot in a well-ventilated area during extended sessions — the cellular radio draws maximum power in poor signal, generating heat that stresses the battery.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Yeacomm P21 4G — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (Z2200B)

This is a 3.7V 2600mAh (9.62Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Yeacomm P21 4G mobile hotspot. It replaces part number Z2200B and fits the P21 4G directly. If your hotspot is shutting down early or no longer holding a charge, this is the battery to replace.

  • P21 4G compatibility: The P21 4G runs a combined 4G modem and Wi-Fi radio off a single cell. The Z2200B matches the voltage rail and connector pinout that the device's BMS expects — no adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell under simultaneous modem and Wi-Fi load at maximum connected clients. The BMS held a stable discharge curve without triggering an early low-voltage cutoff.
  • Ventilation during extended sessions: Keep the P21 4G in an open, unobstructed spot during long hotspot sessions. When connected devices are far from the hotspot, the cellular radio pushes to maximum transmit power — that heat transfers directly into the battery cell and accelerates capacity wear over time.

Mobile hotspot disconnecting users mid-session on a new battery

The P21 4G drives both a 4G modem and a Wi-Fi radio from a single 3.7V cell. At maximum client connections, the combined current draw can cause a sharp voltage sag on a degraded or under-spec cell. The BMS interprets that sag as a low-battery event and triggers a protective cutoff — even if the percentage indicator still shows charge remaining. A cell matched to Z2200B's rated capacity handles the combined load without the sag hitting the cutoff threshold.

P21 4G won't power on after sitting unused for weeks

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly in storage. If the P21 4G sat unused long enough, the battery may have dropped below the minimum boot voltage — typically around 3.0V for this cell chemistry. At that level, the device's protection circuit blocks power-on to prevent damage, so the hotspot appears completely dead. Plug into the original charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on; the circuit needs to see enough voltage to re-enable the output before the device will respond.

Frequently Asked Questions

My P21 4G shows battery remaining but still cuts off and drops all connected devices — what's happening?

This is a voltage sag cutoff, not a capacity problem. The P21 4G pulls current from both the 4G modem and the Wi-Fi radio at the same time, and when multiple devices are connected, that combined draw spikes sharply. A worn cell can't hold its voltage through that spike, so the BMS trips a protective cutoff even though the charge indicator still reads above zero. Replacing the Z2200B cell with a full-capacity unit eliminates the sag that triggers the disconnect.

Battery drains much faster when I'm in an area with weak 4G signal — is that a battery fault?

It's not a battery fault — it's expected radio behaviour. In a weak signal area, the P21 4G's modem increases its transmit power to maintain the 4G connection, which draws significantly more current than normal operation. That elevated draw can make the battery appear to drain two to three times faster than it would in good coverage. If drain in strong-signal areas is normal, the battery is functioning correctly; the fix is positioning the hotspot near a window or external antenna point to reduce transmit power demand.

The P21 4G gets noticeably warm during long sessions — does heat affect the new battery?

Yes, sustained heat is the main factor in long-term capacity loss for Li-ion cells. The P21 4G generates heat from the cellular radio, and that heat transfers into the battery compartment during extended sessions. Repeated exposure above 40°C accelerates the chemical degradation inside the cell, reducing how much charge it can hold over time. Keep the device flat on a hard, open surface during long sessions — avoid pockets, cases, or enclosed spaces — to let heat dissipate away from the cell.
