Fits Doro 330, 330 GSM, HandleEasy 330, and HandleEasy 330 GSM phones; replaces original battery.
This 3.7V 1100mAh lithium-ion cell delivers the same capacity as the OEM pack for this senior-focused handset.
Battery uses a standard connector and sits flat in the original slot with no modification needed.
We bench-tested this cell in the 330 platform; the fuel gauge accepted the new BMS signature on first insertion without lockout codes.
On first full charge after installation, do not interrupt the cycle — the phone's coulomb counter needs one complete discharge-recharge arc to recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve, or percentage reporting will drift.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Doro 330 / HandleEasy 330 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 1100mAh (4.07Wh) Li-ion cell is a direct replacement for the Doro 330, 330 GSM, HandleEasy 330, and HandleEasy 330 GSM. These are simplified mobile phones built for clear, low-stress daily communication. The cell matches original voltage and form factor at 53.18 × 34.00 × 6.80mm.

  • 330 and HandleEasy 330 platform fit: All four variants — 330, 330 GSM, HandleEasy 330, HandleEasy 330 GSM — share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail, so one cell covers the full group without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the 330 platform. The BMS communicated charge state correctly and terminated at full voltage without fault flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting a new cell, run one complete discharge to automatic shutoff followed by an uninterrupted full charge. The fuel gauge IC in the 330 is calibrated against the old cell's discharge curve — skipping this cycle causes the percentage counter to read inaccurately from the first hour of use.

Why the Doro 330 reports the wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The 330 uses a fuel gauge IC that tracks charge by counting coulombs against a stored discharge curve. That curve was built around the original aged cell. A new 1100mAh cell has a different impedance and discharge slope, so the counter drifts immediately. The fix is one full uninterrupted discharge-to-shutoff followed by a full charge — this forces the IC to rewrite its reference curve against the new cell. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the Doro 330

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under the load of an active call or screen wake — a voltage cliff the fuel gauge did not anticipate. On a degraded original cell, the cliff sits high; on a new cell that hasn't been calibrated, the gauge still expects the old cliff point and cuts power early. Run the full discharge-charge calibration cycle first. If shutdowns persist after calibration, check that the battery contacts in the bay are clean and making firm contact — even 0.1Ω of contact resistance will pull cell voltage below the 3.0V BMS cutoff threshold under modem load.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Doro 330 turns off by itself at around 25% — is that a fault with the new battery?

It's a calibration issue, not a cell fault. The fuel gauge IC tracked the old cell's voltage curve, so it doesn't know where the new cell's voltage cliff sits under call load. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff and then a complete uninterrupted charge. That forces the IC to remap against the new cell, and the early shutdowns stop.

The phone won't power on at all after the new battery sat unused in packaging for a while — what's happening?

If the cell voltage dropped below roughly 2.5V during storage, the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell until it clears the lockout threshold and the BMS re-initialises. Once the screen shows a charging indicator, a normal charge cycle will complete.

The phone feels warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges — is that normal?

A new high-impedance cell generates more heat as the charge IC adjusts current delivery in the first few cycles. On the 330 platform this is expected and self-correcting. If the warmth continues beyond the third full charge cycle or the phone becomes hot to the touch, remove it from charge and inspect the battery bay contacts for debris causing resistance. Normal surface warmth during charge resolves on its own as internal impedance drops with cycling.
