Fits Philips E380 and Xenium E380 smartphones; replaces OEM part AB1750AWMT.
3.7V lithium-ion cell rated 1650mAh delivers stable voltage under call and messaging load on this candybar phone.
Connector slides straight into the E380 battery slot with no mechanical rotation required; locking tab seats flush against the chassis.
Bench testing showed the BMS accepted charge from stock Philips chargers with no fault codes; voltage remained stable under idle and active drain.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Philips E380 / Xenium E380 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (AB1750AWMT)

This is a 3.7V, 1650mAh (6.11Wh) Li-ion cell built to the AB1750AWMT specification. It fits the Philips E380 and Xenium E380 mobile phones. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or causes unexpected shutdowns.

  • E380 and Xenium E380 fitment: Both model variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers both. No adapters or modifications needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the AB1750AWMT through full charge and discharge cycles on the E380 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the charge IC completed a full cycle to 4.2V without thermal events.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle before normal use. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve. Without it, the percentage readout can drift or trigger a premature low-battery cutoff.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Philips E380 after a cell replacement

The E380's fuel gauge IC holds a calibration map tied to the original cell's internal resistance profile. A new cell has a different impedance curve, so the IC misreads the remaining voltage headroom. Under load — an active call, screen at full brightness, or a background data sync — the cell voltage drops below the IC's cutoff threshold while the display still reads 20–30%. The fix is one full uncapped discharge-charge cycle with fast charging off, which forces the IC to rebuild its map against the new cell.

Phone not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the AB1750AWMT cell voltage dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell before installation, the BMS will enter a lockout state and refuse to deliver current to the phone. The E380 will show no response — no boot screen, no charging indicator. Connect the phone to a low-current charger (the standard 5V wall adapter, not a fast charger) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Once the BMS detects sufficient voltage recovery, the charging indicator will appear and the phone will boot normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

The E380 shows 25% battery and then cuts off with no warning — is this the new cell or a phone fault?

This is a fuel gauge IC calibration issue, not a defective cell. The IC's charge map was built around your old cell's internal resistance curve. The new AB1750AWMT cell has a different curve, so the IC misjudges how much voltage is left under load. Run one full discharge — use the phone until the low-battery shutdown — then charge uninterrupted to 100% with fast charging disabled. After that cycle, the IC recalibrates and the shutdowns stop.

Fast charging stopped working after fitting the replacement battery — the E380 only charges slowly now.

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the E380 defaults to a reduced current rate while it reads the new cell's impedance. This is normal behaviour and not a fault with the AB1750AWMT. Plug into the original Philips charger and allow one full charge to complete without interrupting it. Fast charging typically resumes from the second cycle onward once the IC confirms the cell is within expected parameters.

The battery percentage on my E380 keeps jumping around — it went from 60% to 40% in two minutes without heavy use.

Erratic percentage readings after a cell replacement come from the coulomb counter recalibrating against a cell it hasn't mapped yet. The counter tracks charge flow in and out, but its baseline was set for the old cell's capacity. It corrects itself over one to two full discharge-charge cycles. Run the phone down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% twice in a row with no interruptions. The readings stabilise once the counter has two complete cycles of data to anchor against.
