Fits Doogee Y100, Y100 Pro, Valencia 2 smartphones; replaces OEM part Y100.
3.8V, 2000mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full charge capacity to restore normal daily use cycles.
Connector plugs directly into the Y100 battery slot with standard smartphone lithium-ion orientation and locking tabs.
We bench-tested this cell across three discharge cycles; the BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no handshake delay or fault codes.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging enabled — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Doogee Y100 / Valencia 2 Series — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (Y100)

This is a 3.8V, 2000mAh Li-ion cell for the Doogee Y100, Y100 Pro, and Valencia 2 smartphones. It slots directly into the original battery bay and connects to the same BMS contact points. Capacity is 2000mAh (7.6Wh), matching the factory spec.

  • Y100, Y100 Pro, and Valencia 2 compatibility: All three models share the same 3.8V single-cell architecture and identical connector pinout. The BMS handshake protocol is consistent across the range, so one cell covers the full group without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Y100 platform. The onboard charge IC accepted the cell without fault flags, and the BMS held cutoff voltage correctly at both ends of the discharge curve.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Why the Y100 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the Y100 builds its percentage model from a learned discharge curve stored from the previous cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual cell chemistry and impedance. The IC reads voltage correctly but maps it to the wrong state-of-charge point. One complete discharge to automatic shutdown followed by a full charge corrects the internal coulomb counter and restores accurate reporting.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the new cell

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve. At 20–30% indicated, the new cell may already be at or below the voltage threshold the modem and display require under load. The BMS then trips the output to protect the cell, even though the displayed percentage looks safe. Run one full calibration cycle as described above — after that, the gauge will cut off the display reading before the cell hits the trip voltage.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Doogee Y100 won't power on at all after sitting in a drawer for months with the new battery installed — is the cell dead?

Probably not dead, but the BMS has locked out the output because the cell discharged below 2.5V during storage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. The charge IC needs enough trickle current to bring the cell above the BMS re-enable threshold before the phone will respond to the power button. If the charge LED shows any sign of life within that window, the cell is recovering normally.

Fast charging stopped working on my Y100 after I put the replacement battery in — it only charges slowly now.

The USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge handshake between the phone and the charger depends partly on the BMS recognising a calibrated, healthy cell state. On the first cycle after a swap, the BMS often defaults to a conservative charge rate until it has completed one full cycle and confirmed the cell parameters. Run one complete standard-rate discharge and charge cycle first. After that cycle, reconnect your fast charger and check whether the fast-charge icon reappears.

The battery percentage on my Y100 jumps around erratically — it reads 45%, then suddenly drops to 12%, then climbs back up.

Erratic percentage jumps point to the fuel gauge IC recalibrating mid-use against an unfamiliar cell curve. The coulomb counter is interpolating between reference points that were set by the old cell, so small load changes produce large, inaccurate swings. Discharge the phone fully until it shuts itself off automatically, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without removing the charger. That single full cycle resets the reference points and the jumping should stop.
