Fits Samsung Galaxy M13, SM-M136B/DS, and Galaxy M13 5G 2022 — replaces OEM battery EB-BM135ABS.
Delivers 3.88V at 5000mAh; this capacity restores full-day runtime on the M13's Exynos processor and 6.5-inch display.
Connector is a two-pin JST type with a single locking tab oriented toward the top of the phone.
We bench-tested this cell on a Galaxy M13 motherboard; the fuel gauge IC accepted the new BMS without fault codes on power-on.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this recalibrates the fuel gauge against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy M13 / SM-M136B — 3.88V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BM135ABS)

This is a 3.88V, 5000mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Samsung Galaxy M13 and Galaxy M13 5G 2022 (SM-M136B/DS). It matches the OEM part number EB-BM135ABS and fits the original battery compartment at 85.40 × 62.60 × 5.20mm. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds a charge or the phone shuts down unexpectedly.

  • Galaxy M13 and M13 5G 2022 fitment: Both the standard M13 and the M13 5G 2022 (SM-M136B/DS) share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers both variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on an SM-M136B/DS unit and confirmed the BMS accepted charge current, fuel gauge communication was established, and the charge IC stepped through trickle, CC, and CV phases without fault codes.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge recalibration: After installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle at standard current. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before fast charging pushes higher current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Galaxy M13 after a cell swap

A new Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different voltage-versus-capacity curve than the worn cell the fuel gauge IC was trained on. When the modem fires up for a call or the display spikes brightness, the phone draws a short burst of current that pulls the cell voltage below the shutdown threshold — even though the OS still shows 20–30% remaining. The fuel gauge IC has not yet mapped where the voltage cliff sits on the new cell. One complete discharge cycle down to automatic shutoff, followed by a full charge to 100%, gives the coulomb counter enough data to recalibrate. After that cycle, the premature shutdowns stop.

USB fast charge not working on first cycle after battery replacement

On the first charge after installation, the Galaxy M13's charge IC may stay in standard 5V/1A mode and refuse to negotiate the faster charging profile. This happens because the BMS on a new cell starts in a conservative state — it withholds the handshake that signals to the charge IC that the cell can accept higher current. Run the phone through one full standard charge cycle without fast charging enabled. On the second cycle, re-enable fast charging in Settings → Battery and Device Care → Charging, and the BMS handshake should complete at the correct voltage.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Galaxy M13 shows the right percentage while idle but cuts off suddenly during a video call — why?

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity problem. The modem transmitting during a call draws a sharp current spike that drops the cell voltage below the shutdown threshold faster than the fuel gauge IC can react. It happens most often in the first few cycles after a battery swap, before the coulomb counter has mapped the new cell's discharge curve. Run one full discharge-to-shutdown and charge-to-100% cycle and the shutdowns should stop.

The battery percentage on my M13 is jumping around erratically after fitting the new cell — is the battery faulty?

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating, not failing. The IC's stored discharge curve was built around your old, degraded cell — the new 5000mAh cell has a different voltage profile, so the percentage reading is unreliable until the IC learns it. Let the phone drain to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with fast charging disabled. After that single full cycle, the coulomb counter resets its baseline to the new cell and the percentage readings stabilise.

The phone feels warm near the battery area during the first few charges after replacement — is that normal?

A new high-impedance Li-Polymer cell generates more heat during the initial charge cycles than a worn, lower-impedance cell does. The charge IC applies the same current to a higher internal resistance, and that produces more heat. Keep the phone out of its case for the first two or three charges and charge at room temperature. If warmth continues beyond the third full charge cycle, check that the charge IC is not stuck in fast-charge mode — navigate to Settings → Battery and Device Care → Charging and confirm the fast charging toggle matches your intent.
