Fits Vodafone Smart V8, Vfone 6+, and VFD 710 models; replaces OEM part Li3930T44P6h816437.
3.85V, 3000mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers 11.55Wh to sustain processor, modem, and display loads.
Connector slides into the original battery slot with no adapter needed; locking tab engages on insertion.
We bench-tested this cell in the V8 platform; the fuel gauge IC accepted the new discharge curve on first cycle without voltage errors.
On first full charge after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the coulomb counter recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vodafone Smart V8 / VFD 710 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (Li3930T44P6h816437)

This is a 3.85V 3000mAh lithium-polymer cell for the Vodafone Smart V8, Vfone 6+, and VFD 710 smartphones. It replaces the original Li3930T44P6h816437 cell when the existing battery has aged, swollen, or failed. Capacity is rated at 11.55Wh, matching the original specification.

  • Smart V8 / VFD 710 platform fit: The Smart V8, Vfone 6+, and VFD 710 share the same chassis, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers all three variants without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a VFD 710 unit, confirmed the BMS accepted the charge profile, and verified the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Smart V8 after a cell swap

The Smart V8's modem and display together draw enough current to cause a rapid voltage sag near the end of the cell's charge curve. If the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell, it misreads state-of-charge and cuts the phone before the new cell is actually empty. This is not a defect in the replacement cell — it is a calibration lag in the coulomb counter. Run two full discharge-charge cycles without fast charging to let the IC re-anchor to the new cell's voltage curve.

Phone will not power on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Lithium-polymer cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage has dropped below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters a lockout state and blocks normal charging to prevent an unsafe recovery charge. Plug into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on. If the device still shows nothing after that window, the BMS requires a trickle-charge recovery; use a charger that outputs at least 5V 1A to bring the cell above the BMS unlock threshold of around 3.0V.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Smart V8 percentage jumps from 35% straight to 15% and then the phone dies — is the new battery faulty?

This is a fuel gauge IC calibration issue, not a defective cell. The coulomb counter in the Smart V8 was mapped to the discharge curve of your old, degraded cell — the new cell has a different curve, so the percentage readings are wrong until the IC recalibrates. Run two full discharge-charge cycles with fast charging turned off in the settings. After the second cycle, the reported percentage should track the actual cell voltage accurately.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in after fitting the replacement cell — now it only slow charges.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the Smart V8's charge IC defaults to a conservative constant-current profile while the BMS on the new cell negotiates its charge acceptance parameters. This is normal behaviour on the first charge. Fully discharge the phone, then plug in and allow a complete charge cycle to finish — fast charging typically re-enables itself once the BMS and charge IC have completed that initial handshake. If it remains on slow charge after two full cycles, check that the USB cable supports the required current rating for the V8's charging protocol.

The phone feels warm near the back where the battery sits during the first few charges after fitting — should I be concerned?

A new high-impedance cell generates slightly more heat than a broken-in one during the initial charge cycles, because the internal resistance is higher before the cell's electrolyte fully wets the electrode surfaces. This is normal for the first two to three charges. The heat should be mild — warm to the touch, not hot. If the device becomes uncomfortably hot or shows a temperature warning, stop charging immediately, remove the case if one is fitted, and charge at room temperature using a 5V 1A wall adapter rather than a fast charger until the cell has completed its first full cycle.
