Fits Nokia N95 8GB model CDM530AM, replacing OEM battery CDM530AM.
This 3.7V 1500mAh cell restores full phone runtime after capacity loss or shutdown failures on the original pack.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a single locking tab — no tools needed, seats flush against the housing.
We bench-tested this pack on discharge simulation; the BMS held voltage stable through mid-range load, no early cutoff observed.
On first power-on after installation, let the phone complete one full discharge-charge cycle before using fast charge — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Zalip CDM530AM / MIFI H1 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 1500mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the CDM530AM and MIFI H1. Both devices draw from the same voltage rail and use the same physical footprint — 65.80 × 43.90 × 5.10mm — so one cell covers both. Capacity figures come from the product data, not inflated web listings.

  • CDM530AM and MIFI H1 shared cell: Both devices run the same 3.7V nominal rail and use an identical connector pinout. The BMS handshake matches on both platforms — no firmware rejection on pairing.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the CDM530AM platform. The BMS held cutoff correctly at both ends — no premature low-voltage trip, no overcharge event at the top.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-charge cycle from 100% to near-empty and back. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter to the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated register.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

The CDM530AM's fuel gauge IC holds a discharge curve learned from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the real voltage drop profile. Under modem or screen load, the device hits a voltage cliff the gauge didn't predict and cuts power — even though the displayed percentage still reads 20–30%. Run one full uninterrupted discharge cycle to let the coulomb counter reset against the new cell. After that cycle, the gauge tracks correctly and shutdowns stop.

Device will not power on after sitting in storage

Li-ion cells stored without charge self-discharge over weeks. If the cell drops below 2.5V, the BMS latches into lockout mode and blocks all current flow — the phone shows no response even on charge. Connect to a wall charger, not a USB port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes without touching it. A wall charger delivers enough trickle current to nudge the cell above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.9V. Once the BMS releases, normal charging resumes and the phone powers on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my CDM530AM shut off at 25% right after I put in the new battery?

The phone's fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it learned from the old cell. When modem or display load hits, voltage sags faster than the gauge predicts and the phone cuts out to protect itself. Run one full cycle — charge to 100%, discharge naturally to near-empty, then charge back up without interruption. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell and the early shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage is jumping around erratically — it went from 60% straight to 34% in two minutes.

That's the fuel gauge IC recalibrating in real time against a cell it hasn't profiled yet. The register it uses to track charge state was built on the old cell's impedance and capacity curve, so readings are unreliable until it collects enough data from actual discharge. Do not top-charge repeatedly in short sessions — those partial cycles confuse the counter further. Let the phone run through two complete discharge-charge cycles and the percentage reporting stabilises.

My phone gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges — is that a fault?

No — it's expected behaviour on the first one or two charges with a new high-impedance cell. The charge IC on the CDM530AM applies a fixed charge current, and a fresh cell with higher internal resistance dissipates more of that energy as heat until the cell conditions slightly. If warmth drops off after the second or third charge, the cell is behaving normally. If it stays hot or the phone becomes too hot to hold after three full cycles, check that no debris is trapping heat between the battery and the rear cover.
