Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZTE Blade V7 Max — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (Li3930T44P8h866534)
This 3.85V, 3000mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces the original battery in the ZTE Blade V7 Max and Blade V7 Max Dual SIM. It matches the OEM part number Li3930T44P8h866534 and fits the 85.00 × 64.72 × 3.26mm battery bay. Capacity is rated at 11.55Wh, in line with the factory specification.
- Blade V7 Max and Dual SIM compatibility: Both variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers both configurations — no adapter or modification needed.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Blade V7 Max platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge across the full curve, and charge termination triggered correctly at 4.35V.
- First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging is introduced into an uncalibrated cell.
Why the Blade V7 Max shuts down suddenly at 20–30% after a cell swap
The Blade V7 Max uses a coulomb-counter fuel gauge IC that was calibrated to the original cell's internal resistance profile. A new cell has a different impedance curve, so the reported percentage diverges from true state-of-charge. When the modem fires a high-current burst or the display ramps brightness, voltage drops sharply below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the gauge still reads 20–30%. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging corrects this by resetting the counter against the new cell's actual characteristics.
Phone won't power on after the replacement cell sat in storage
Li-polymer cells self-discharge during storage, and if the voltage drops below approximately 2.5V per cell the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent damage. The phone will show no response when the power button is pressed. Connect the device to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 15–20 minutes before attempting to power on. Most BMS circuits re-initialise once the cell climbs back above 3.0V and the charger IC is delivering stable current.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Blade V7 Max keeps jumping between different battery percentages after I put in a new cell — is the battery faulty?
The battery itself is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the Blade V7 Max stores a discharge curve calibrated to the original cell, and a new cell with different internal resistance throws that model off. The gauge reads coulombs, not actual voltage, so it reports erratic values until it recalibrates. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled — this resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's curve.
Fast charging stopped working the first time I charged the phone after fitting this battery — was something damaged during installation?
Nothing is damaged. On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the Blade V7 Max charge IC can decline to negotiate the fast-charge protocol because the BMS on the new cell has not yet passed a full authentication handshake. Complete one slow charge cycle from low to 100% using the standard wall adapter. After that cycle the fast-charge protocol should resume on subsequent charges as normal.
The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery area during the first few charges — is that normal for this replacement?
Some warmth is expected on the first two or three charge cycles with a new Li-polymer cell. A fresh cell has higher initial internal impedance, which means the charge IC dissipates slightly more heat while pushing current through higher resistance. Temperatures above 40°C at the back of the handset are outside normal range — if the phone gets hot to the touch, remove it from the charger and check that the battery connector is fully seated before charging again.
