Fits Samsung Galaxy Book Go series and replaces OEM part number AA-PBAN2HE.
7.72V Li-Polymer cell with 5250mAh capacity delivers 40.53Wh to sustain full CPU and display load.
Connector orientation matches the original slot; no adapter needed for Galaxy Book Go ultraportable chassis.
We ran full discharge and recharge cycles on a Galaxy Book Go unit; the BMS accepted the cell without fault codes.
After installation, run one complete discharge to shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears false health warnings that appear after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy Book Go — 7.72V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AA-PBAN2HE)

This is a 7.72V, 5250mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Samsung Galaxy Book Go ultraportable notebook. It fits models including XE340XDA-KA1US, XE340XDA-KA3US-RB, and XE340XDA-KA1IT. Swap this in when the original cell no longer sustains charge through a standard workday.

  • Galaxy Book Go platform fit: All XE340XDA variants share the same 7.72V single-cell Li-Polymer architecture, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why one part number covers the full model range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge, discharge, and BMS communication checks on a Galaxy Book Go unit. The BMS accepted the cell without authentication errors and charge current stepped correctly across all stages.
  • First-cycle calibration after install: After fitting this battery, run the laptop down until it hibernates on low battery, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.

Why the Galaxy Book Go shuts down at 20–30% after a battery swap

The fuel gauge IC in the Galaxy Book Go calculates remaining capacity against a stored profile from the old cell. When a new cell goes in, that profile is stale and the IC underestimates usable capacity. Under combined CPU and display load, the reported percentage drops faster than real voltage — and the system trips a shutdown before the cell is actually depleted. Running two full discharge-to-hibernate and full-recharge cycles forces the IC to rebuild its profile against the new cell's actual voltage curve.

BIOS reporting battery health as poor immediately after replacement

The Samsung BIOS reads health data from EEPROM written by the original cell during its service life. A new cell arrives with a clean EEPROM, which the BIOS interprets as missing or degraded data and flags as poor health. This is a firmware read issue, not a fault with the replacement cell. Complete one full discharge-to-hibernate cycle followed by a full uninterrupted charge to 100% — the BIOS learn cycle will rewrite the health register and clear the warning.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Galaxy Book Go fuel gauge is jumping around — showing 60%, then suddenly 35% a few minutes later. Is the new battery faulty?

The fuel gauge IC calibrates itself against the cell's voltage curve over several cycles — a brand-new cell has no history in the IC's memory, so readings are erratic until it builds one. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate cycles followed by full uninterrupted charges to 100%. After those two cycles, the gauge stabilises and tracks actual cell voltage correctly.

Windows is showing the Galaxy Book Go battery Wh rating as different from what's listed — it says something like 38Wh instead of 40.53Wh. Did we get the wrong battery?

The Wh figure Windows reports is pulled from the cell's EEPROM, which stores the rated value written at manufacture — minor differences in chemistry batches mean the EEPROM value and the actual measured capacity can diverge by a small margin. The physical cell is the correct AA-PBAN2HE part for this model. Check the voltage reading instead: with a full charge, the cell should sit between 8.3V and 8.4V, confirming the correct chemistry and state of charge.

The Galaxy Book Go stopped charging above 80% after we installed the replacement battery — it just holds at 80% indefinitely.

This is a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a fault with the replacement cell. Samsung's firmware includes a battery protection mode that caps charging at 80% to reduce long-term cell stress — it can be toggled on or off. Open Samsung Settings, go to Device Care, then Battery, and check whether the charge limit is enabled. Disabling it allows the cell to charge to 100%.
