Fits Haier M1 LP14123 notebook computers and replaces OEM part number UTL-4766133.
This 7.6V, 6000mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full charge capacity on M1 LP14123 systems showing depleted or failing battery symptoms.
Connector orientation and locking tab match OEM placement; physical dimensions confirm direct slot fit without modification.
We bench-tested the cell on M1 LP14123 charge rails — BMS accepted the pack on first insertion without fault codes.
After installation, discharge the battery fully to hibernation cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings that appear after every cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Haier M1 LP14123 — 7.6V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (UTL-4766133)

This 7.6V, 6000mAh (45.6Wh) lithium-polymer battery replaces the original UTL-4766133 cell in the Haier M1 LP14123 notebook. It restores portable power to the laptop when the factory cell has degraded or failed. Voltage and connector match the original specification exactly.

  • M1 LP14123 fitment: The UTL-4766133 uses a connector pinout and BMS handshake specific to the M1 LP14123 chassis. The voltage rail and communication protocol align directly with what the Haier system board expects, so the BIOS recognises the cell without manual override.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the M1 LP14123 platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the system board, charge termination triggered at the right voltage, and no protection-circuit trips occurred under sustained CPU and display load.
  • First-cycle calibration on the M1 LP14123: After installing, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on this model.

BIOS reporting battery health as poor after replacing the UTL-4766133

The Haier M1 LP14123 BIOS reads health data from the battery's EEPROM. When a new cell arrives, the EEPROM holds factory default values that don't match the system's learned discharge profile from the old battery. The BIOS interprets this mismatch as a degraded cell and flags poor health. Running one complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by a full uninterrupted charge lets the BIOS overwrite the old profile and recognise the new cell correctly.

Laptop shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens because the fuel gauge IC calibrates against the old cell's voltage curve. The new lithium-polymer cell has a steeper voltage drop near depletion, so the gauge underestimates remaining capacity until it is recalibrated. Under full CPU and display load, the cell hits the low-voltage cutoff before the OS gauge reaches 0%. Two to three full discharge-and-charge cycles reset the fuel gauge IC to the new cell's actual curve — after that, shutdowns should align with the gauge reading dropping below 5%.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Windows show the Haier M1 LP14123 battery as 0% or "unknown" right after I installed the new cell?

The fuel gauge IC in the M1 LP14123 still holds the discharge curve from the old UTL-4766133 cell. Until it recalibrates against the new chemistry, it cannot map voltage to a percentage accurately, so it reports 0% or unknown. Run one complete discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After two or three of these cycles the gauge reading stabilises.

The system info page shows the wrong Wh rating for the new battery — it says something different from 45.6Wh. Is the cell wrong?

The Wh figure displayed in Windows or BIOS is read from the EEPROM on the battery PCB, not measured in real time. Factory EEPROM values sometimes reflect the cell's rated chemistry spec rather than the exact as-shipped capacity, which can cause a small mismatch with the 45.6Wh figure in the product data. This is a data-field difference, not a hardware fault. Confirm actual capacity by running a full discharge cycle and checking what the BIOS logs under battery report.

My Haier M1 LP14123 won't charge above 80% with the new battery installed — is the cell defective?

This is almost always a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a cell fault. Many Haier notebooks ship with a battery-care mode active in firmware that caps charging at 80% to reduce cell stress during long periods on mains power. Go into the BIOS power settings or the Haier system utility and disable the charge threshold or set it to 100%. Once that setting is cleared, the UTL-4766133 cell will charge to full voltage without issue.
