This is an 11.1V, 4400mAh (48.84Wh) Li-ion battery for Hasee notebooks including the K680E-G6D1, K680E-G4E3, CW65S08, and K680E-G4D4 among others. It replaces the original cell when the existing pack no longer holds a usable charge or fails to power the system entirely. Voltage and connector match the original — no modification required.

  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge, full load discharge, and BMS handshake verification. The protection circuit responded correctly to overcurrent and low-voltage cutoff events. BIOS read the cell as recognised and reported Wh capacity within expected range.

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The OS reads 25% remaining, but the new cell's voltage under combined CPU and display load drops below the BMS cutoff threshold before the gauge catches up. It is a calibration gap, not a defective cell. Run two full discharge cycles to hibernate-cutoff and charge back to 100% each time — the fuel gauge IC will map the new cell's curve and the shutdowns will stop.

My Hasee laptop says the battery is "unknown" or shows 0% right after I installed the new one — what's happening?

The BIOS is still reading EEPROM data from the old cell and can't match it to the new pack, so it reports the status as unknown or fails to display a percentage at all. This is a BIOS recognition issue, not a fault with the replacement cell. Boot into Windows and let the battery sit on charge for 10–15 minutes — most Hasee systems will re-poll the pack and update the status. If it persists, run a full discharge to hibernate-cutoff and charge back to 100% to complete the battery learn cycle.

The system info screen shows a different Wh rating than what's printed on the battery label — is something wrong?

The Wh figure shown in Windows or the BIOS is pulled from the cell's EEPROM, which stores the manufacturer's rated capacity at cell level. The label on the physical pack reflects actual tested capacity under standard conditions. A small difference between these two figures is normal and doesn't indicate a mismatch or a faulty unit — the cell is operating correctly. If the discrepancy is large (more than 5Wh), run one full discharge-to-hibernate and recharge cycle to allow the fuel gauge IC to recalculate against the new cell.

Charge stops at around 80% and won't go higher — is this a faulty cell or a laptop setting?

This is almost always a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a cell fault. Hasee notebooks — like many modern laptops — include a battery care mode that caps charging at 80% to reduce cell stress during long periods of mains use. Check the Hasee power management software or BIOS power settings under "Battery Charge Threshold" or equivalent. Disable the charge limit or set the upper threshold to 100%, then reconnect the charger — the battery will charge to full.
