This is a 7.4V, 1100mAh Li-ion battery for the Zebra ZQ110, ZQ220, and ZR128 mobile thermal printers. It replaces OEM part numbers P1070125-008, P1071566, P1071565, and P1077747. These printers are used in retail, logistics, and field service where continuous cordless printing is required.

• ZQ110, ZQ220, and ZR128 platform fit: All three models share the same 7.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits across the platform without adapter or modification.

When battery charge drops below roughly 20%, the ZQ110 and ZQ220 radio module experiences voltage sag during simultaneous print and transmit events. The BMS briefly reduces power delivery to protect the cell, and the radio loses its connection to the host device. This is not a firmware or pairing issue — it is a power supply problem. Keeping the battery above 3.7V per cell (7.4V total) during active use eliminates the drop-outs.

Faded or uneven print lines after extended storage

The ZQ110's thermal print head requires a stable voltage to hold the correct temperature across the full print width. A cell that has sat in storage for months loses capacity through self-discharge, and the reduced voltage causes temperature variation along the head — visible as faint or patchy lines. This is not a head calibration fault. Charge the battery fully, run five to ten prints, and check that voltage holds above 7.0V during the print cycle before concluding the head needs service.
