Fits FitBit Versa 3 smartwatch and replaces OEM battery part number LSS352325P.
This 3.85V, 260mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring, and multi-day battery runtime on your Versa 3.
Connector is a two-pin flat-pad interface; orientation is keyed by pad polarity—no locking tab, seating is friction-fit into the battery slot.
We bench-tested this cell in a Versa 3 donor unit; the fuel gauge IC calibrated without errors on initial charge, and BMS reported stable voltage under continuous heart rate monitoring load.
After fitting the new cell, place the watch on its charger immediately and charge to 100% before first use—the fuel gauge IC cannot calibrate without a full charge cycle from near-zero after a cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

FitBit Versa 3 — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (LSS352325P)

This 3.85V, 260mAh lithium-polymer cell replaces the original LSS352325P battery in the FitBit Versa 3 smartwatch. It restores power to all core functions — fitness tracking, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and notifications. Dimensions are 27.40 × 22.80 × 3.30mm, matching the original cell footprint inside the Versa 3 chassis.

  • Versa 3 platform fit: The Versa 3 uses a compact flex connector with a specific pin-out tied to the fuel gauge IC on the mainboard. This cell matches that connector and voltage curve so the BMS can read state-of-charge correctly after the swap.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on the Versa 3 mainboard and confirmed the BMS accepted the new cell without fault flags. The fuel gauge re-initialised cleanly once the watch completed a full charge cycle from near-zero.
  • Post-swap charge cycle on the Versa 3: Place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately after fitting this cell and charge it to 100% before first use. The Versa 3 fuel gauge IC loses its reference point when the old cell is removed — it cannot calibrate state-of-charge without one full charge cycle starting from near-zero.

Why the Versa 3 shows 0% immediately after a battery swap

The Versa 3 uses a coulomb-counting fuel gauge IC that tracks charge by measuring current in and out of the cell over time. When you disconnect the old battery, the IC loses its reference entirely — it has no baseline for the new cell. The watch will display 0% or refuse to boot until it sees a full charge cycle. Put the watch straight on the charger after the swap and let it reach 100% before powering it on.

New battery draining to empty within a single day on the Versa 3

The most common cause is continuous heart rate monitoring running alongside an always-on display — both active at once push draw well beyond what this 260mAh cell is rated to sustain over a full day. Check the display settings and confirm always-on mode is off if it was not intentionally enabled after the swap. Continuous GPS sessions compound this further; the Versa 3 GPS radio alone pulls enough current to deplete the cell in a fraction of a normal use day. Disable continuous HR polling and always-on display, then check drain again — resting draw should keep the watch running across multiple days.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Versa 3 won't pair with my phone after swapping the battery — what happened?

Removing the battery cuts power completely, which ends any active Bluetooth session and can wipe the BLE pairing state stored in volatile memory. The watch and your phone no longer recognise each other as a trusted pair. Open the Fitbit app on your phone, go to your account settings, remove the Versa 3 from the device list, then re-add it as a new device.

The heart rate sensor seems to be chewing through the new battery far faster than the old one — is the cell faulty?

This is normal for the first week after a cell swap on the Versa 3. The new cell has a different internal impedance than the aged original, and the optical HR sensor adjusts its LED drive current while the BMS learns the new cell's characteristics. Drain rates typically stabilise after three to five full charge cycles. If heavy drain continues past that point, check whether continuous HR mode is enabled in the Fitbit app and turn it to auto.

The magnetic charger doesn't seem to be making contact after I reassembled the Versa 3 — the charging icon never appears.

Reassembly can shift the rear cover by a fraction of a millimetre, which is enough to misalign the four charge contacts with the magnetic puck. Remove the watch from the charger, inspect the contact pads on the back for any adhesive residue or debris from the swap, and clean them with a dry cloth. Re-seat the charger squarely over the centre of the rear panel — when aligned correctly, the charging icon appears within a few seconds and the watch reports 0% before climbing.
