Fits Google Pixel Watch 3 with OEM part number G1QME battery replacement.
Rated 3.88V, 300mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers power for timekeeping, fitness tracking, notifications, and health monitoring on your Pixel Watch 3.
Connector type is magnetic pogo pins with 24.40 x 22.00mm footprint — align flat against the watch's internal contact plate before closure.
We bench-tested this cell in a Pixel Watch 3 unit; the fuel gauge IC initialized correctly after a full charge cycle from power-off state.
After fitting this battery, place the watch on its charger immediately and charge to 100% — the fuel gauge IC cannot calibrate without a complete charge cycle after cell replacement.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Google Pixel Watch 3 — 3.88V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (G1QME)

This is a 3.88V, 300mAh lithium-polymer cell for the Google Pixel Watch 3 smartwatch. It matches the OEM part number G1QME and fits the compact 24.40 x 22.00 x 4.20mm battery bay. Replace this cell when the original degrades and the watch can no longer hold charge through a full day of active use.

  • Pixel Watch 3 platform fit: The Pixel Watch 3 runs a single-cell Li-Polymer architecture with a proprietary BMS handshake tied to cell impedance. Swapping to a matched 3.88V cell keeps the fuel gauge IC reading correctly and avoids false low-battery shutdowns.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the Pixel Watch 3 charge cycle on the magnetic dock. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault flags, and the fuel gauge completed its calibration pass during the first full charge.
  • Fuel gauge reset after cell swap: After fitting, place the watch immediately on its magnetic charger and charge to 100% before wearing it. The fuel gauge IC on this platform cannot set an accurate state-of-charge reference until it sees a full charge cycle from near-zero following a cell replacement.

Why the Pixel Watch 3 shows inflated battery drain in the first week after a cell swap

A new cell has slightly different internal impedance than the degraded cell the BMS was last calibrated against. For the first several charge cycles, the fuel gauge reports state-of-charge less accurately, which can look like faster drain on the battery indicator. Always-on display and continuous heart rate sampling add a steady baseline current draw that makes this more visible. The discrepancy corrects itself as the BMS logs charge and discharge curves across three to five full cycles. No settings change is needed — let the watch run through normal daily use and the readings stabilise.

Watch not pairing to phone after battery replacement

Removing the battery cuts power entirely, which drops the active Bluetooth Low Energy session between the watch and the paired phone. The phone retains the pairing record but the watch comes back up without a live BLE link. Open the Bluetooth settings on the phone, forget the Pixel Watch 3, then re-initiate pairing from the watch's settings menu. The watch must be on and showing the home screen — not on the charger boot screen — before the phone can complete the handshake.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Pixel Watch 3 shows 0% and won't turn on right after I put the new battery in — did I get a dead cell?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC on the Pixel Watch 3 loses its state-of-charge reference when the original battery is removed, and it defaults to 0% on first boot with a new cell. Place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and leave it until the display confirms 100%. Do not attempt to power it on mid-charge — let the gauge complete one full charge cycle from near-zero before use.

The new battery is draining down to empty in a single day, but the old worn-out battery used to last longer — what's happening?

Always-on display combined with continuous heart rate monitoring draws a consistent current load that a freshly fitted cell handles differently than a partially degraded one initially appeared to. Check your watch face settings — switching from always-on to raise-to-wake cuts the display draw significantly on a 300mAh cell. Also confirm that background app refresh and sleep tracking are not both running simultaneously, as that combination keeps the sensor stack active overnight. After three to five full charge cycles the fuel gauge calibrates properly and reported drain will reflect actual usage more accurately.

The magnetic charger doesn't seem to be making contact after I reassembled the watch — the charging indicator never appears.

Reassembly can shift the charge contact plate by a fraction of a millimetre, which is enough to break the magnetic dock connection. Remove the watch from the charger, inspect the rear contact pins for debris or slight misalignment, and reseat the back panel firmly until you feel it click flush. Place it back on the charger and confirm the charging indicator appears within 10 seconds. If the indicator still does not appear, clean the rear contacts and the dock face with a dry cloth and retry — oxidation on the contact surface is the next most common cause.
