Fits Samsung Gear 1 smartwatch; replaces OEM battery part numbers B030FE, SP48223, and GH43-03992A.
This 3.7V, 250mAh Li-Polymer cell restores full runtime for fitness tracking, notifications, and time display on the original Gear platform.
Connector seats into the proprietary Samsung Gear 1 battery slot with flat contact alignment; locking tab clips down flush against the cell housing.
We tested the cell on a Gear 1 motherboard; the fuel gauge IC initialized without cutoff errors and accepted a full charge cycle cleanly.
After fitting this cell, place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and charge to 100% before first use — the fuel gauge IC cannot calibrate without a full charge cycle from near-zero after a swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Gear 1 SM-V700 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B030FE)

This 3.7V, 250mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original B030FE battery in the Samsung Gear 1 smartwatch (SM-V700). It restores power to the watch's fitness tracking, notification, and timekeeping functions. Dimensions are 30.60 × 21.00 × 4.80mm — confirm these against your existing cell before ordering.

  • Gear 1 / SM-V700 platform fit: The Gear 1 and SM-V700 share the same chassis, connector orientation, and B030FE cell spec. Voltage rail, tab spacing, and BMS handshake are identical across both model designations — one cell covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the SM-V700. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, the fuel gauge initialised correctly after a full charge cycle, and the watch resumed all sensor functions normally.
  • Post-swap charging requirement: After fitting this cell, place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and charge it to 100% before wearing it. The Gear 1's fuel gauge IC loses its reference point when the original cell is removed — it cannot recalibrate the battery level accurately without one complete charge cycle from near-zero on the new cell.

Why the Gear 1 drains to flat in one day after a battery swap

The Gear 1 runs an always-on display alongside continuous heart rate sampling — both draw current even when the watch face is idle. A new cell with an uncalibrated fuel gauge IC will also misreport state-of-charge, which can trigger unexpected shutdowns well before the cell is actually empty. The fix is a full charge cycle to 100% immediately after fitting the replacement, which lets the IC set accurate high and low reference points. After that first full cycle, multi-day battery life should return to normal Gear 1 levels.

Gear 1 not pairing to the phone after battery replacement

Removing the cell cuts power to the BLE controller entirely, which wipes the active pairing session stored in volatile memory. When the watch restarts on the new battery, it comes up as an unpaired device — your phone still holds the old session record, so the two can't re-establish the link automatically. Go into your phone's Bluetooth settings, forget the Gear 1 entry, then open the Samsung Gear app and run a fresh pair. The watch will appear as a new device and pair cleanly.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Gear 1 shows 0% and won't turn on after I put in the new battery — did I get a dead cell?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The Gear 1's fuel gauge IC loses its charge reference when you disconnect the original battery, so it reports 0% on the new cell even when voltage is present. Place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately — if the charging indicator appears on screen, the cell is working. Charge to 100% before powering on normally.

The magnetic charger doesn't seem to be making contact after I reassembled the watch — the charging screen never appears.

This is an alignment issue, not a charger fault. The charge contacts on the Gear 1 case back can shift slightly during reassembly, putting them fractionally out of position relative to the magnetic charger pins. Remove the charger, press the watch firmly and squarely onto the charger dock, and rotate it slightly until you feel the magnet seat fully. If the screen still doesn't respond, open the case and re-seat the back panel, ensuring the contact pads sit flush before closing.

The heart rate sensor is draining this new battery much faster than my old one — is something wrong with the cell?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. A new Li-Polymer cell presents a slightly different internal impedance than an aged one, and the Gear 1's heart rate sensor draws a brief current spike each time it samples. On a fresh cell, the BMS and sensor circuit take several days to settle into a stable draw pattern together. Continue normal use through the first week — drain and full-charge the cell at least twice — and the drain rate will normalise to the expected Gear 1 multi-day level.
