Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

FrontRow FR Wearable Lifestyle — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (450-7359-101)
This is a 3.7V, 800mAh Li-ion cell that replaces OEM part 450-7359-101 in the FrontRow FR Wearable Lifestyle and Juno ISM-01 pendant and pass-around microphone units. It fits the same compact footprint (42.30 × 30.30 × 7.86mm) as the original pack. Swap it in when the original cell no longer powers the device through a normal session.
- FR Wearable Lifestyle and Juno ISM-01 compatibility: Both the FR Wearable Lifestyle and the Juno ISM-01 pendant and pass-around units share the same battery bay dimensions and the same 3.7V single-cell voltage rail, which is why a single cell part — 450-7359-101 — covers the entire line. The BMS handshake and connector pinout are identical across these models.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the FR platform and monitored the BMS at each cutoff threshold. The protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff, and charge acceptance held steady across multiple cycles without thermal anomaly.
- Monthly discharge cycle for wearable speakers: If this unit lives in a dock or charging case most of the day, let it drain below 20% at least once a month before recharging. Constant top-off charging without a full discharge causes fuel gauge drift — the device reports a full charge while actual cell capacity quietly shrinks.
Audio distortion before the battery indicator reaches empty on the FR Wearable
As the Li-ion cell discharges toward its lower voltage limit, internal resistance rises and the cell can no longer sustain the current spike the amplifier demands during loud passages. Voltage sags momentarily below what the amplifier needs, and the output stage clips — you hear distortion even though the indicator still shows charge remaining. This is not a software fault; it is a cell-condition issue. A fresh cell with low internal resistance holds voltage stable under amplifier load, so distortion only appears near true empty.
FR Wearable Lifestyle won't wake from USB charging after sitting unused
If the unit has been stored for several weeks without use, the cell can discharge below the minimum voltage the USB charging circuit will accept — typically under 2.5V on a single Li-ion cell. The charger sees the pack as absent or faulted and refuses to deliver current. To recover it, hold the cell on a dedicated lithium trickle charger at a low pre-charge rate (around 0.05C) until the cell climbs above 3.0V, then return it to the standard USB charge cycle. Do not leave a deeply discharged pack on trickle longer than two hours without checking cell voltage.

Frequently Asked Questions
My FrontRow FR Wearable Lifestyle shows a full charge icon but audio cuts out after a short time — is the new battery faulty?
This is capacity fade from shallow cycling, not a faulty cell. When a Li-ion pack is repeatedly topped off from 70–80% without a full discharge, the fuel gauge loses calibration and the device reads "full" against a cell that has lost usable capacity. Run the new battery down below 20% before the first recharge, then do at least one full discharge-to-recharge cycle to let the gauge recalibrate. After two or three full cycles the charge indicator should align with actual playtime.
Bluetooth keeps dropping on the FrontRow FR Wearable Lifestyle when the volume is turned up — the battery looks fine.
The Bluetooth radio and the amplifier both draw current simultaneously at high volume. On a degraded or partially discharged cell, that combined load causes a momentary voltage sag that the radio stack interprets as a power fault and resets the wireless link. The amplifier alone can spike demand by 200–400mA during loud transients, and the radio adds on top of that. If drops only happen above 70% volume, check that the cell voltage under load stays above 3.4V — a cell sitting at 3.3V or below under that combined draw will trigger the BMS or cause a radio reset.
The FrontRow FR Wearable Lifestyle gets noticeably warm against skin during long use — is that the battery or the amplifier?
Both contribute, but in a wearable form factor they compound each other. The amplifier generates heat during continuous playback, and a Li-ion cell in active discharge adds its own thermal load in the same small housing with limited airflow. Neither source alone is a problem at rated load, but together in a fabric-contact enclosure the temperature climbs faster than it would in a vented speaker. Keep extended continuous playback sessions to what the device is rated for, and if the housing feels hot rather than warm, pause playback for a few minutes — sustained heat above 45°C accelerates cell degradation regardless of cycle count.
