Asus Memo Pad ME102 / ME102A — 3.75V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11P1314)

This is a 3.75V, 4900mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Asus Memo Pad ME102 and ME102A 10-inch Android tablets (model codes K00F). It replaces OEM part C11P1314. If your tablet no longer holds a charge or shuts down unexpectedly, this cell restores full power capacity.

  • ME102 and ME102A platform fit: Both the ME102 and ME102A use the same C11P1314 cell with a matching connector pinout, cell dimensions of 162.32 x 82.15 x 3.16mm, and the same charge IC handshake. One battery covers both variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the ME102 charge IC and confirmed BMS cutoff behaviour at both low-voltage floor and high-voltage ceiling. Cell voltage held within spec across multiple charge cycles with no anomalous cutoff events.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without unplugging early. This single full cycle resets the fuel gauge IC against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after installation.

Tablet shutting down at 15–25% after battery replacement

The ME102 shuts down before reaching 0% because the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old, degraded cell. It interprets the new cell's voltage curve as critically low earlier than it actually is. Under combined display and Wi-Fi load, voltage sags briefly and triggers the cutoff threshold. One full discharge-to-shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the calibration and resolves premature shutdowns.

Fast charging unavailable on ME102 after battery swap

If the ME102 reverts to slow charging after a battery replacement, the charge IC typically needs one completed charge cycle before it re-negotiates the charge rate with the new cell. Use the original Asus charger — third-party adapters that don't match the expected voltage profile will stay at baseline charge current. Complete one full charge from low to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, fast charging should resume at the normal rate.

My Asus ME102 shows the wrong battery percentage after I put the new battery in — is something broken?

Nothing is broken. The fuel gauge IC was calibrated to your old, degraded cell and doesn't yet know the capacity curve of the new one. Run the tablet down until it shuts itself off automatically, then charge it uninterrupted to 100%. That single cycle recalibrates the gauge against the new cell and the percentage will read accurately after that.

The ME102 gets warm near the charging port while charging the new battery — should I stop?

Mild warmth at the charge IC area is normal during the first few charge cycles on a new cell. The charge IC runs a slightly higher current while it profiles the new battery's internal resistance. If the tablet becomes hot to the touch or shows a charging error, stop and check the connector seating. Otherwise, leave it charging — warmth alone on a new cell is not a fault.

My ME102 percentage drops faster than expected from 100% down to around 60%, then slows — what's happening?

This is fuel gauge drift. The gauge IC hasn't finished mapping the new cell's discharge curve and it over-reports capacity loss in the upper range while it recalibrates. It corrects itself after one or two full discharge-to-shutoff and charge-to-100% cycles. Run two complete cycles without interruption and the percentage drop rate will level out across the full charge range.
