Fits DigiLand DL7006 7-inch tablet and replaces OEM battery part number PR-445585.
This 3.7V, 1800mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full charge cycles to tablets showing rapid drain or shutdown.
Battery slides into the tablet's internal slot with standard connector alignment and locking tab engagement.
We bench-tested this cell in the DL7006 platform; the BMS accepted the new pack without fault codes on initial charge.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and resolves inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

DigiLand DL7006 / KB 7" — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PR-445585)

This is a 3.7V, 1800mAh Li-Polymer battery for the DigiLand DL7006 and KB 7-inch tablet. It matches OEM part number PR-445585 and fits the original battery bay without modification. Capacity is rated at 6.66Wh, identical to the factory specification.

  • DL7006 and KB 7" compatibility: Both tablets run the same 3.7V power rail and use the same PR-445585 connector footprint and cell dimensions — 94.45 × 57.40 × 3.05mm. The BMS on each platform communicates over the same two-wire interface, so no firmware handshake mismatch occurs on swap.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the DL7006 platform. The onboard charge IC accepted the cell without fault flags, and the BMS reported state-of-charge within normal range after one full cycle.
  • Fuel gauge reset after installation: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff — do not force-close it. Then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC a full voltage sweep against the new cell and corrects the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after a swap.

Tablet shutting down at 15–25% remaining after battery swap

The DL7006's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old, degraded cell. Its voltage curve no longer maps accurately to the new cell. When the display and WiFi radio draw current simultaneously, voltage sags briefly below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the cell still has usable charge. Run one full discharge cycle to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, the IC recalibrates its low-voltage threshold to the new cell and the early shutdowns stop.

Fast charging not working after fitting the PR-445585

The DL7006 uses a USB-PD or proprietary charge negotiation sequence that runs on the first accepted charge cycle after a new cell is detected. Until that first cycle completes, the charge IC defaults to a lower current limit as a protection measure. Plug in using the original charger and allow a full uninterrupted charge to 100% — do not use a USB hub or PC port for this cycle. After that, the charge controller re-enables the higher current profile and fast charging resumes at the expected rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

My DigiLand DL7006 shows a different battery percentage every time I restart it after the swap — is the new battery faulty?

The fuel gauge IC on the DL7006 stores calibration data tied to the old cell's voltage curve. A new cell has a different internal resistance profile, so the IC reads erratically until it has a full reference sweep. Run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without unplugging. After that single cycle, the IC locks onto the new cell's curve and percentage readings stabilise.

The DL7006 drops from around 40% to near zero very quickly after the battery replacement — what's happening?

This is fuel gauge drift, not a cell defect. The onboard IC is still using the old cell's discharge curve as its reference, so it compresses the lower half of the percentage scale. One full discharge-to-shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the stored reference. After that cycle, the percentage should drop at a consistent rate across the full range from 100% down to cutoff.

The tablet feels warm near the charging port while charging with the new PR-445585 battery — is that normal?

Warmth at the charge IC during the first few cycles on a new cell is expected. The charge controller on the DL7006 runs a conditioning profile when it first encounters a new cell — slightly higher charge current early in the cycle generates more heat than steady-state charging. If the tablet is warm but touchable and the charge IC is not triggering a fault light or stopping the charge, it is operating normally. If it becomes hot to the touch or shuts down during charging, check that the charger output matches the original spec — 5V input is the correct value for this platform.
