Fits Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 models SM-T337V and LTE variants; replaces OEM T4450E and T4450C cells.
3.8V nominal, 3000mAh capacity delivers the amp-hour rating original to this tablet platform.
Connector seats into the internal battery slot with a single locking tab; orientation keyed to prevent reverse insertion.
We bench-tested the T4450E against a known Galaxy Tab 4 mainboard; BMS accepted charge without fault codes on first cycle.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and resolves inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (T4450E)

This 3.8V, 3000mAh (11.4Wh) lithium-polymer battery replaces part number T4450E and T4450C in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 line. It fits the SM-T337V, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 LTE, and Millet variants, among others. If your tablet won't hold charge or shuts down unexpectedly, this is a direct cell-level replacement.

  • Galaxy Tab 4 variant compatibility: The SM-T330, SM-T331, SM-T335, and SM-T337V series all draw from the same 3.8V power rail and use the same connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol — which is why T4450E and T4450C cover the whole family without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on a SM-T331 unit. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, charge current ramped correctly from trickle to CC phase, and CV termination cut off cleanly at 4.35V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after install: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff — do not force it off — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This single full cycle resets the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's actual capacity curve and clears the skewed percentage reading that almost always appears after a swap.

Galaxy Tab 4 shutting down at 15–25% remaining

This happens because the fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old, degraded cell. When the curve shifts, the chip misreads remaining capacity and signals a low-voltage shutdown too early. The combined load of the display backlight plus active WiFi pulls enough current to cause a real voltage sag at that state of charge — the BMS trips before the percentage hits zero. Run one full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% and the symptom clears in most cases. If it persists past two cycles, check that the connector is fully seated — a loose fit creates resistance that amplifies the sag at high draw.

Fast charging not available after battery swap on Galaxy Tab 4

Samsung's adaptive fast charge protocol requires a successful completed charge cycle before the charger and device negotiate higher current delivery. On a freshly installed cell, the charge IC defaults to standard 5V/1A until it has one accepted full cycle on record. Use the original Samsung charger — third-party adapters often don't send the correct voltage handshake for AFC negotiation. After one full charge to 100% with the OEM adapter, fast charge availability returns on subsequent sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Galaxy Tab 4 shows 80% battery right after a full charge — is the new battery faulty?

The battery is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC inside the tablet was calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve, so readings on a new cell are off until recalibration. Run the tablet down to automatic shutoff — don't force it off manually — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. One complete cycle resets the IC against the new cell and the percentage display stabilises.

The Galaxy Tab 4 feels warm on the back while charging after the battery swap — should I stop?

Mild warmth during the first few charges is normal. The charge IC is profiling a new cell, so it spends more time in the constant-current phase than it would with a conditioned cell — that's where the heat comes from. If the tablet is hot to the point of being uncomfortable to hold, or if charging stops and restarts repeatedly, disconnect and check that the battery connector is fully clicked in — a partial connection increases resistance and generates excess heat at the contact points.

Battery percentage drops faster than expected from 100% down to around 60% — then slows down. What's wrong?

This is fuel gauge drift, not a capacity problem with the cell. The IC's state-of-charge model is still mapped to the old battery's internal resistance profile, so it overestimates discharge rate in the upper range and underestimates it in the mid-range. Run two full discharge-to-shutoff cycles, charging to 100% each time without interruption. By the second cycle, the IC has enough data to flatten out the drop curve — if the behaviour persists past three cycles, confirm the replacement cell reads 3.8V at rest with a multimeter before installation.
