Fits Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5-inch (SM-T800, SM-T801, SM-T805) and replaces EB-BT800FBE battery.
3.8V, 7900mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers 30.02Wh to run the display, processor, and WiFi radio.
Connector slides into the factory slot with a single locking tab; orientation is keyed.
We bench-tested this cell in an SM-T800 for three full charge cycles; the BMS accepted handshake on insertion and voltage held steady under combined display-WiFi load.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC against the new cell and fixes percentage errors.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BT800FBE)

This is a 3.8V, 7900mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5-inch tablet. It fits the SM-T800, SM-T801, and SM-T805 variants. Install it when the original EB-BT800FBE has degraded, swells, or no longer holds a usable charge.

  • SM-T800, SM-T801, SM-T805 compatibility: All three share the same 3.8V battery rail, the same EB-BT800FBE connector pinout, and the same charge IC handshake — so one cell fits the Wi-Fi, LTE, and regional variants across this Tab S 10.5 generation.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on an SM-T800 unit. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake without fault flags, and voltage held steady across display-on and processor-load states.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After installation, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the device. This gives the fuel gauge IC a full reference cycle against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that typically appear after a battery swap.

Why the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 shuts down between 15–25% remaining

The Tab S 10.5 runs a 2560×1600 display alongside Wi-Fi and background sync — a combined load that draws hard on the cell at low state of charge. When cell voltage drops under that combined load, it hits the BMS low-voltage cutoff faster than the fuel gauge predicts. The result looks like a sudden shutdown even though the percentage counter hasn't reached zero. One full recalibration cycle — discharge to shutoff, uninterrupted charge to 100% — resets the fuel gauge reference and resolves most of these early cutoffs.

Fast charging unavailable after battery replacement

Samsung's adaptive fast charge protocol requires a successful completed charge cycle before the charge IC fully negotiates with a new cell. If fast charging doesn't appear in the battery settings after installation, that's expected behaviour — not a fault. Plug in using the original Samsung adaptive charger and let the tablet complete one full charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, fast charge negotiation resumes normally and the option reappears in settings.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Tab S 10.5 shows 40% battery then just shuts off — is the new battery defective?

It isn't defective. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to your old cell's voltage curve, so it misreads the new cell's actual charge state. Run the tablet down to automatic shutoff under normal use, then charge it uninterrupted to 100%. That single full cycle gives the gauge a fresh reference point and the premature shutdowns stop.

The percentage is jumping around — it went from 60% to 80% without charging. What's happening?

The fuel gauge IC lost its calibration reference when the old cell was removed. Without a baseline, it interpolates voltage readings erratically, which shows up as percentage jumps in both directions. This isn't a cell fault — it's a calibration gap. Do one complete discharge to automatic shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, and the percentage will track accurately from that point forward.

Tablet feels warm near the top edge while charging after the swap — should it?

Yes. The charge IC on a new cell runs a conditioning pass during early cycles, which generates slightly more heat than a settled cell produces. This is normal and fades after the first two or three full charge cycles. If the tablet becomes hot to the touch or shows a temperature warning on screen, disconnect the charger and let it cool to room temperature before resuming — but mild warmth at the charging port area is expected behaviour on a fresh cell.
