Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung SM-T900 / SM-T905 Galaxy TabPRO — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (T9500E)
This is a 3.8V, 9500mAh (36.1Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5" and Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 series. It fits the SM-T900, SM-T905, Galaxy TabPRO 12.2, and Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 LTE-A 64GB. Install it when the original cell no longer holds charge, swells, or stops accepting a charge cycle entirely.
- SM-T900, SM-T905, and TabPRO 12.2 compatibility: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The T9500E cell fits all four variants without modification — the BMS reads cell state identically across the SM-T900 and TabPRO 12.2 platform.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the T9500E through a full charge and load cycle on an SM-T900. The BMS accepted the charge without error flags, voltage climbed steadily to 4.35V at full charge, and the tablet registered the new cell without a forced reboot.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the tablet. This forces the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's actual capacity curve and clears the percentage drift that almost always appears after a cell replacement.
Why the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 shuts down at 15–25% after a battery swap
The SM-T900 combines a high-brightness 10.5" display with simultaneous WiFi activity — a combined load that creates a sharp voltage sag near the lower end of the cell's discharge curve. If the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell, it misreads the new cell's remaining capacity and triggers a low-voltage cutoff earlier than the actual state of charge warrants. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% corrects the IC's reference map. After recalibration, the shutoff point moves back to below 5% where it belongs.
Fast charging unavailable on the SM-T900 after battery replacement
Samsung's adaptive fast charge handshake on this tablet requires the charge IC to complete at least one accepted full charge cycle on the new cell before re-enabling elevated charge rates. Immediately after a swap, the tablet may default to standard 5V charging until that first cycle completes. Plug into the original Samsung fast charger, let the tablet charge fully from below 10% without interruption, and fast charge will re-engage on the next session. If it still does not activate, confirm the charger output is 9V/1.67A or higher — third-party chargers below that threshold will not trigger the protocol.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is showing 60% battery but it just shut off — what's wrong?
The fuel gauge IC in the SM-T900 is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. It reports a percentage based on voltage thresholds that no longer match the new cell, so the tablet hits its cutoff point long before the displayed percentage reaches zero. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That single cycle resets the IC's reference map and brings the reported percentage back in line with actual charge.
The tablet feels warm near the top edge while charging after I installed the T9500E — is something wrong?
That warmth is the charge IC on the new cell working through its first few cycles. Li-Polymer cells run slightly warmer during initial charge acceptance while the BMS establishes its baseline charge profile. As long as the tablet is not hot to the touch and charging progresses normally through to 100%, no action is needed. If the temperature feels excessive or charging stalls below 80%, disconnect and check that the connector is fully seated.
My SM-T900 battery percentage is dropping faster than expected from a full charge — is the new battery faulty?
This is fuel gauge drift, not a cell defect. The IC shipped its calibration values set against a degraded original cell, so it over-reports early discharge on the fresh T9500E. Discharge the tablet fully until it powers off automatically, then charge it in one uninterrupted session to 100% — do not use it during this charge. After that cycle, the gauge IC recalibrates to the new cell's actual capacity and the drop rate normalises.
