Fits Xplore RSL10, XLBE1, and Xslate L10 tablets; replaces OEM part LYNPL03.
Delivers 7.6V at 13000mAh capacity — sustains full power draw across WiFi, display, and processing without voltage sag.
Connector seats into the battery bay with a single locking tab; verify contact pins are clean before seating.
Tested on bench under combined WiFi and display load; BMS accepted charge protocol on first cycle without fault codes.
After installation, run one complete discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC against the new cell and clears inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xplore RSL10 / Xslate L10 — 7.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LYNPL03)

This is a 7.6V, 13000mAh (98.8Wh) Li-ion battery for the Xplore RSL10, XLBE1, and Xslate L10 rugged tablets. It replaces OEM part number LYNPL03 directly. If your original pack has degraded after field use, this restores full charge capacity.

  • RSL10, XLBE1, and Xslate L10 compatibility: All three models share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — the same 7.6V cell and fuel gauge IC applies across the group without hardware modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the RSL10 platform. The BMS accepted the charge cycle without tripping an over-voltage fault, and cell balancing completed normally at full capacity.
  • Fuel gauge IC reset after installation: After fitting this battery, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell and corrects the inaccurate percentage readings that commonly appear following a battery swap.

RSL10 shutting down at 15–25% battery remaining

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old, degraded cell. The tablet's power manager sees a voltage cliff — a rapid drop under the combined load of the display, WiFi radio, and active applications — and triggers a protective shutdown before the reported percentage reaches zero. The new cell has a flatter discharge curve than a worn pack, so the old calibration data no longer maps accurately to actual remaining charge. Run one full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% to resync the gauge.

Fast charging not available after fitting the LYNPL03

The RSL10 uses a USB-PD negotiation sequence to unlock higher charge rates. On a freshly installed cell, the charge IC needs to complete at least one accepted full cycle before the tablet's firmware confirms the pack as valid and enables the fast-charge profile. If fast charging is unavailable immediately after the swap, charge the tablet to 100% using the OEM charger at standard rate first. After that cycle completes, USB-PD fast charging should re-engage on the next charge session.

Frequently Asked Questions

My RSL10 is showing 80% battery but just shut off — is the new battery faulty?

The battery is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC inside the RSL10 is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so the percentage displayed does not match the actual voltage of the new pack. Under combined load — display at full brightness plus active WiFi — the tablet hits a low-voltage threshold faster than the gauge predicts and shuts down protectively. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%, and the gauge will recalibrate against the new cell.

The RSL10 feels warm during the first few charges after swapping the battery — should I stop charging?

Warmth during the first charge cycles is normal. The charge IC on the RSL10 runs a conditioning pass on a new cell, which generates moderate heat as it establishes the cell's internal resistance baseline. Surface temperature should stay well below 45°C during this phase. If the tablet becomes hot to the touch or the charge cycle terminates early without reaching 100%, check that the charging port and connector are clean and that airflow around the tablet is not blocked.

Fast charging worked fine before, but now it only charges slowly after the battery replacement — what changed?

The RSL10's firmware must confirm a completed charge cycle before it unlocks the USB-PD fast-charge profile on a new pack. Until that first full cycle finishes, the tablet defaults to standard charge rate as a precaution. Use the OEM charger to complete one uninterrupted charge from near-empty to 100% at the standard rate. Once that cycle registers, reconnect the same USB-PD charger and the higher charge rate should be available again.
