Fits Dyson V10, Cyclone V10, and V10 Cyclone series vacuums; replaces OEM part number 969352-02.
25.2V at 3000mAh delivers the voltage and capacity this motor demands under sustained carpet load without early cutoff.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a forward push until the locking tab clicks — no force needed.
We ran a full discharge cycle on the test V10 and verified the BMS held stable output through the motor's peak current draw phases.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously once full — trickle charge cycles degrade the cells faster than charge-and-remove practice.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Dyson V10 Cyclone Series — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (969352-02)

This is a 25.2V, 3000mAh lithium-ion replacement battery for the Dyson V10 cordless stick vacuum range, including the Cyclone V10, V10 Absolute, and related V10 series models. It replaces OEM part 969352-02 and uses the same connector and BMS communication protocol as the original pack. Capacity is rated at 75.6Wh, matching the stock specification.

  • V10 series compatibility: All V10 variants share the same 25.2V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake. The motor controller requests cell authentication on startup — this pack passes that check across the V10 Absolute, Cyclone V10, and SV12 platforms.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack on an SV12 unit under MAX mode. The BMS held steady through sustained motor draw, passed the startup handshake without fault codes, and maintained voltage above the motor controller's cutoff threshold throughout the discharge cycle.
  • Dock charging on the V10: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the wall dock indefinitely. The V10 charger does not fully terminate at 100% — continuous dock connection causes trickle charge stress on the cells. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The V10 motor controller adjusts power based on real-time cell voltage, not just state-of-charge percentage. When the filter is partially blocked, motor draw spikes and forces the cells to sag below the controller's stable-operation threshold — suction weakens even though the indicator shows charge remaining. This is a voltage sag issue, not a capacity issue. Clean the filter and check the brush bar for obstructions before assuming the battery has failed.

Motor cuts out then recovers a few seconds later

This behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a fault in the vacuum itself. Sustained restricted airflow forces the motor to draw above the BMS's current ceiling, triggering a temporary shutdown to protect the cells. The BMS resets automatically after a few seconds, which is why power returns without pressing any buttons. Clear the blockage, wash the filter, and let it dry fully — the trip threshold on the 969352-02 pack is tied to a sustained overcurrent condition, not a momentary spike.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Dyson V10 loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery light still shows full — is the battery faulty?

This is usually voltage sag under load, not a dead cell. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, pulling cell voltage below the motor controller's stable threshold — suction drops even though stored charge remains. Remove and wash the filter, clear the brush bar, and retest. If suction holds after a clean filter, the battery is fine.

My V10 cuts out for a few seconds during a clean, then switches back on by itself — what's causing that?

That is the BMS tripping on overcurrent, not a wiring fault or a failing pack. Restricted airflow from a clogged filter pushes motor current above the BMS protection ceiling, which shuts the pack down briefly and resets automatically. It is a protection response, not a random failure. Clean the filter thoroughly, confirm the airways are clear, and the cutout should stop.

My V10 battery seems to hold less charge every month even though I always keep it on the dock — why is it degrading so fast?

Continuous dock connection is the cause. The V10 wall charger does not fully cut off at 100%, so leaving the vacuum docked for days at a time subjects the cells to sustained low-level charge current, which accelerates capacity fade. Charge the battery to full, then physically remove the vacuum from the dock. Only redock it when the battery needs charging again.
