Fits Pure Clean PUCRC105 robotic vacuum cleaners; replaces OEM battery PUCRC105.
11.1V 2600mAh lithium-ion cell restores full motor and navigation power to the vacuum.
Connector inserts vertically into the battery cavity with a positive tab lock.
We cycled this pack on the PUCRC105 motor load; BMS held stable across full discharge.
Remove the vacuum from its dock immediately after charging to full — continuous trickle charge degrades capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Pure Clean PUCRC105 — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 11.1V 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Pure Clean PUCRC105 robotic vacuum. It powers the drive motors, suction fan, and onboard navigation system. When the original cell degrades, cleaning cycles shorten and the unit returns to dock early — this battery restores normal operation.

  • PUCRC105 fit: The PUCRC105 uses an 11.1V three-cell Li-ion pack to supply both the navigation board and the suction motor from a single source. Voltage and connector position must match exactly — this pack meets both requirements for that unit.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full discharge and recharge sequences, monitoring BMS cutoff behaviour under simulated motor-start surges. The protection circuit held within spec across repeated draws without false tripping.
  • Dock charging habit on the PUCRC105: Do not leave the PUCRC105 sitting on its charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charge accelerates capacity fade in three-cell Li-ion packs like this one. Charge to full, then remove it from the dock until the next scheduled clean.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the PUCRC105

This happens when the suction motor draws more current than the BMS expects — usually because the filter is partially blocked. Higher motor resistance increases current draw, and the BMS reads that as a low-voltage event before the cell is actually depleted. The unit throttles fan speed to protect the pack, which feels like suction loss. Clean or replace the filter first, then check whether the symptom persists with the new battery installed.

PUCRC105 motor cuts out mid-cycle and then recovers after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the suction path is restricted — blocked brush roll, full dustbin, or clogged filter — the motor stalls briefly and current spikes above the BMS threshold. The circuit opens to protect the cell, the unit pauses, then resets once current drops. Clear the restriction completely and confirm the dustbin is emptied before running another cycle. If trips continue with a clean filter and empty bin, measure resting pack voltage — a healthy fully charged pack should read at or above 12.6V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My PUCRC105 returns to dock early but the battery indicator still shows charge remaining — is the new battery faulty?

It is not necessarily faulty. The PUCRC105 monitors voltage under motor load, not just resting voltage — a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw extra current, which causes the pack voltage to sag under load and triggers an early return. Clean the filter and brush roll thoroughly before concluding the battery is the cause. If the problem persists with a clear filter, charge the pack fully and measure terminal voltage — it should read at or above 12.6V at full charge.

The PUCRC105 ran noticeably shorter cycles after I left it on the dock for weeks between uses — why?

Continuous dock contact keeps a Li-ion pack in a constant low-level trickle charge state, and three-cell packs like this one lose usable capacity faster under that condition than through normal cycling. The cells do not recover that lost capacity once it is gone. Going forward, charge the PUCRC105 to full, then physically remove it from the dock and store it off-charge until the next clean cycle.

The PUCRC105 will not power on at all after sitting unused for several months — is the battery recoverable?

Li-ion cells that sit deeply discharged for extended periods can drop below the BMS recovery threshold, and the protection circuit will block all output to prevent cell damage. Place the unit on the dock for at least 30 minutes — some chargers will push a low recovery current that brings the pack back above the BMS floor. If the charging indicator never activates after 30 minutes, measure voltage directly at the battery terminals — a reading below 9V on this 11.1V pack means the cells have dropped past safe recovery and the pack needs replacement.
