When sustained suction restriction forces the motor to draw beyond the cell's rated current, the protection circuit cuts output to prevent damage. The cell recovers once current drops and the BMS resets — typically within a few seconds. Check and clean the filter first. If the cutout continues on a clean filter with a new cell, the motor itself may be drawing above rated current.
