Fits Alcatel OT-5007S smartphone, replaces OEM battery part number TLP034G1.
3.85V, 3200mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers full charge capacity to the OneTouch Pop S.
Connector type is proprietary Alcatel; polarity marked on cell and device slot.
Bench testing showed the BMS accepted charge on first cycle with no fault codes.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle before enabling fast charging — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC to the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Alcatel OT-5007S — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (TLP034G1)

This is a 3.85V, 3200mAh Li-Polymer cell built to replace the original TLP034G1 in the Alcatel OT-5007S smartphone. It fits the OneTouch Pop S series and restores power to a phone that no longer holds charge or fails to turn on. Capacity matches the factory spec at 12.32Wh.

  • OT-5007S fit: The TLP034G1 uses a specific connector pitch and cell thickness of 4.40mm. Swapping to a cell outside those dimensions stresses the rear cover and can misalign the flex connector, causing intermittent contact faults.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the OT-5007S platform. The BMS accepted the charge handshake without error flags, and voltage held stable across typical screen-on and modem-active loads.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — skipping this step causes the percentage readout to drift or jump erratically before it corrects itself.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the OT-5007S after a cell swap

This happens because the phone's fuel gauge IC learned the voltage-to-capacity curve of the old, degraded cell. When the new cell hits a voltage point that the old curve mapped to 20–30%, the phone interprets it as critically low and shuts down — even though real capacity remains. The fix is one complete discharge cycle without interruption, letting the coulomb counter relearn the curve from a known empty state. After that cycle, shutdowns at false percentages stop.

Phone warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges

A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a cell that has been cycled. During the first few charges, the charge IC works against that higher impedance, which generates more heat than you'd expect on a used cell. This is temporary — impedance drops as the cell is cycled, and heat normalises within three to five charges. If the phone feels hot to the touch rather than warm, check that the replacement cell connector is fully seated at 3.3–3.4V rest voltage before charging again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Alcatel OT-5007S shut off at around 25% after fitting the new battery?

The fuel gauge IC stored the old cell's discharge curve — when voltage on the new cell hits the point the IC mapped as near-empty, it triggers a shutdown even with charge left in the cell. Run one full uninterrupted discharge until the phone powers off on its own, then charge to 100% without removing it. That single cycle resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's curve and the false shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my OT-5007S jumps around after I replaced the cell — is the new battery faulty?

It's not a faulty cell — the fuel gauge IC is still using the curve it built from your old battery. Until it recalibrates, it reads voltage correctly but maps it to the wrong percentage, so numbers jump. Complete one full discharge-to-charge cycle with fast charging disabled, and the IC will rebuild an accurate curve against the new cell. After that cycle the percentage readout stabilises.

My OT-5007S won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — what's wrong?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if voltage dropped below roughly 2.5V the BMS entered lockout mode to prevent damage — the phone won't respond to the power button in that state. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not a PC USB port) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. Once the charge IC pushes enough current to bring the cell above the BMS recovery threshold, the phone will show a charging indicator and boot normally.
