Fits Amazfit GTS smartwatch, replaces OEM part number PL412221H.
3.85V, 240mAh Li-Polymer cell powers display, heart rate sensor, and wireless connectivity.
Connector seats into the GTS battery slot with magnetic alignment tabs on both sides.
We bench tested this cell on the GTS platform; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion without fault codes.
After fitting this cell, place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and charge to 100% — the fuel gauge IC cannot calibrate without a full charge cycle from near-zero after a cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Amazfit GTS Series — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PL412221H)

This 3.85V, 240mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original PL412221H battery inside the Amazfit GTS, GTS 1S, A1913, and C17 smartwatch. It restores power to the display, heart rate sensor, accelerometer, and Bluetooth radio. Dimensions are 22.40 × 21.80 × 4.10mm — verify these against your existing cell before fitting.

  • GTS platform compatibility: The GTS, GTS 1S, A1913, and C17 all share the same PCB layout and connector orientation. The battery footprint and JST connector position are identical across these variants, so one cell covers the full group without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on a GTS unit and confirmed the BMS accepted the new battery without a protection-trip fault. Charge acceptance started immediately at the magnetic contacts and the fuel gauge registered voltage within two charge cycles.
  • Post-swap charge requirement on GTS: After fitting the new cell, place the watch on its charger straight away and charge to 100% before first use. The fuel gauge IC on the GTS loses its reference point when the cell is disconnected. Without a full charge cycle from near-zero, the percentage readout will be inaccurate for days.

Why the GTS fuel gauge reads wrong after a cell swap

The GTS uses a coulomb-counting fuel gauge IC that tracks charge by measuring current in and out of the cell. When you disconnect the battery, that running total resets to zero with no reference point. The IC then estimates state-of-charge from open-circuit voltage, which is unreliable on a freshly installed cell that hasn't settled. One full charge cycle — 0% to 100% — recalibrates the IC against the new cell's actual capacity and corrects the readout.

GTS battery draining to empty within a single day after swap

A new cell draining unusually fast in the first week is usually the sensor stack, not a faulty battery. Continuous heart rate monitoring on the GTS runs the optical sensor at a fixed current draw that compounds with the always-on display if enabled. Check the watch settings and confirm continuous HR mode is not set to the highest polling frequency. Disabling always-on display and setting HR monitoring to 30-minute intervals reduces the draw significantly — then benchmark over 48 hours from a full charge to get an accurate reading.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Amazfit GTS won't turn on at all after I replaced the battery — is the new cell dead?

Almost always this is the fuel gauge IC losing its voltage reference during the swap, not a dead cell. The watch needs charge in the cell before the BMS will allow a cold boot. Connect it to the magnetic charger for at least 30 minutes before pressing the button — if the charging screen appears, the cell is fine and the watch will boot normally once there's enough charge to trigger the startup sequence.

The GTS heart rate sensor seems to be hammering the new battery harder than the old one did — is something wrong?

This is normal for the first five to seven days after a cell swap. The optical HR sensor draws a slightly higher current against a new cell's impedance profile until the cell's internal resistance settles. If the drain is still noticeably heavier after a week, open the Amazfit app, go to Heart Rate Detection, and confirm the mode is set to Smart instead of Continuous — continuous polling at the hardware level draws roughly three times the current of smart mode.

My GTS won't connect to the Amazfit app on my phone after swapping the battery — Bluetooth keeps failing to pair.

Removing the battery during a swap clears the active BLE session stored in the watch's RAM. The phone still holds the old pairing record, which is now orphaned. On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings and forget the Amazfit GTS device entirely, then open the Amazfit app, tap the device, and run a fresh pair from scratch — do not try to reconnect from the Bluetooth menu alone, always initiate the pairing through the app to complete the BLE handshake correctly.
