Fits AMICA VM 9001 cordless stick vacuum; replaces OEM part number 1047672.
25.2V and 2000mAh capacity sustain motor power through full cleaning cycles on tile and carpet.
Connector slides straight into the battery dock with a positive lock tab that clicks firmly.
We bench tested this cell in the VM 9001 dock; BMS accepted full charge without fault codes.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — trickle charge degrades capacity faster than standard charge cycles, so remove from dock once fully charged.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

AMICA VM 9001 — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (1047672)

This 25.2V 2000mAh Li-ion battery pack replaces the original power cell in the AMICA VM 9001 cordless vacuum cleaner. It matches the OEM voltage, capacity, and connector configuration for the VM 9001 stick and handheld vacuum platform. Capacity is rated at 50.4Wh.

  • VM 9001 platform fit: The VM 9001 runs a 25.2V cell configuration that matches a specific connector pinout and BMS communication line. Substituting a generic 24V or 22.2V pack will trigger a voltage-mismatch fault — the motor controller will not spin the brush roll.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full charge and discharge on the VM 9001 platform. The BMS handshake cleared without fault codes, and the motor controller accepted the cell stack at full draw during both carpet and bare-floor suction modes.
  • Dock charging on the VM 9001: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous dock contact keeps the cells in a trickle-charge state that accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove the unit from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when a blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, causing cell voltage to sag under load even though stored charge reads normal. The BMS reads pack voltage — not filter restriction — so the indicator stays green while suction output is already falling. Clean or replace the filter first. If suction recovers to full strength after a filter clean, the battery is not the cause. A genuinely aged cell will sag even on a clean filter and typically drops below 22V under full motor load.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. When airflow is restricted — partial blockage in the wand, a saturated filter, or a tangled brush roll — motor draw spikes past the BMS overcurrent threshold and the pack disconnects to protect the cells. The BMS resets after a short thermal cooldown, which is why the vacuum restarts after you pause. Clear the blockage and check the filter before suspecting the battery. If the cutout repeats on a clean, unobstructed machine, measure pack voltage at rest — a healthy 25.2V cell stack should read between 24.5V and 25.2V when fully charged.

Frequently Asked Questions

My AMICA VM 9001 loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery light still shows full — is the new battery faulty?

Not necessarily — a restricted filter causes the motor to draw more current than rated, which sags cell voltage under load even though the pack reads full at rest. The battery indicator measures stored charge, not motor load headroom. Clean or replace the filter and run the vacuum again. If suction holds on a clean filter, the battery is fine; if it still sags, check resting pack voltage — a good cell stack holds between 24.5V and 25.2V fully charged.

The VM 9001 shuts off during cleaning and comes back on after I leave it for a minute — what's triggering that?

That's the BMS cutting the output due to an overcurrent spike, typically caused by a partially blocked wand, a clogged filter, or hair wrapped around the brush roll forcing the motor to overwork. The pack disconnects to protect the cells, then the BMS resets once the thermal threshold drops — hence the restart after a pause. Clear any blockage, clean the filter, and run again. If it trips on a fully clear machine, the cells may be degraded and dropping below safe discharge voltage under load.

Will the VM 9001 battery fade if I leave it on the dock between uses?

Yes — leaving the vacuum on the charging dock continuously holds the cells in a trickle-charge state, and Li-ion cells degrade faster when kept at or near full charge for extended periods. Over weeks, this compresses the usable capacity range and you will notice shorter runtimes before any visible damage to the pack. Charge the battery to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock and store it off charge. Reconnect only when the battery needs replenishing.
