Fits Asus Live Dual SIM and G500TG models, replaces OEM part C11P1506.
3.8V, 2000mAh Li-ion cell supplies continuous power to processor, modem, and display on this entry-level phone.
Connector slides straight down into the battery slot behind the removable back cover with no locking tab.
We cycled this cell through discharge-recharge on a Dual SIM unit; BMS accepted charge current normally, fuel gauge IC showed initial percentage drift on first cycle.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-to-shutdown and full recharge cycle before resuming normal use—this allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve and prevent false low-battery shutdowns at 20-30% remaining.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus Live Dual SIM / ZenFone Go 5.5 — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (C11P1506)

This is a 3.8V, 2000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Asus Live Dual SIM, G500TG, ZenFone Go 5.5, and ZenFone Go 5.5 Dual SIM smartphones. It uses OEM part number C11P1506 and slots into the same battery bay as the original cell. Capacity is 2000mAh (7.6Wh), matching the factory specification.

  • Cross-model fit — Live Dual SIM, G500TG, ZenFone Go 5.5: These devices share the same 3.8V power rail, identical connector pinout, and a common BMS handshake protocol, which is why a single C11P1506 cell covers the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a Live Dual SIM unit. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, balanced correctly across the protection circuit, and hit the expected 4.35V charge termination point without false cutoffs.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC on these Asus devices calibrates its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve — skipping this step causes the percentage readout to drift by up to 15% in the first week.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the ZenFone Go and Live Dual SIM

This is the most reported failure mode with aged original cells on these devices. When the cell's internal resistance rises enough that it cannot sustain voltage under modem transmission or screen backlight load, the voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. The phone cuts out because the protection circuit sees a voltage cliff the coulomb counter did not predict. Replacing the cell eliminates the resistance problem — the BMS trips will stop once the new cell holds above 3.5V under load.

Phone reporting wrong battery percentage after cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the Live Dual SIM stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell. After a swap, it applies that old curve to the new cell and produces inaccurate percentage readings — often jumping 10–20% or dropping suddenly. This is not a cell defect. Run one full discharge to 0% shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% to force the IC to write a fresh calibration curve. After that cycle, percentage tracking stabilises and readings stay within 3–5% of actual charge state.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Asus Live Dual SIM shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC carried over its learned discharge curve from the old battery and now mispredicts the voltage cliff on the new cell. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. That single cycle forces the coulomb counter to rewrite its calibration against the new cell, and the early shutdowns stop.

Fast charging stopped working on my ZenFone Go 5.5 after I put in the replacement battery — what happened?

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on these Asus devices defaults to standard current until it verifies the new cell's BMS handshake. If fast charge does not resume after the first full cycle, go to Settings → Battery → Charge Rate and toggle fast charging off, then back on. Most units restore the higher charge rate by the second cycle once the BMS has confirmed cell identity.

The new battery gets noticeably warm near the bottom of the phone while charging — is that normal?

A new high-impedance cell generates more heat in the first few charge cycles as the charge IC pushes current into a cell it has not yet characterised. Surface warmth in the first two to three cycles is expected and not a sign of failure. If the phone remains warm throughout the full charge rather than cooling once it passes 80%, check that you are using the original Asus charger — third-party adapters that do not negotiate the correct voltage cause the charge IC to run inefficiently, which increases heat. The phone should feel close to ambient temperature at 100%.
