Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ZTE Axon A2015 Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (Li3830T43P6h775556)
This is a 3.8V, 3000mAh (11.4Wh) lithium-polymer cell that replaces the OEM battery in the ZTE Axon A2015, Axon Lux, Axon Pro, and Axon Tianji A2015 TD-LTE Dual SIM. It matches the original dimensions at 76.95 × 53.95 × 5.25mm and uses the same connector and BMS handshake as the factory unit. If your phone is shutting down early, charging slowly, or barely lasting a few hours, the original cell has degraded.
- Axon A2015 platform fit: The A2015, Axon Lux, Axon Pro, and Axon Tianji variants share the same physical bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — which is why one part number covers all of them. Swapping between these models does not require a different cell.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge and load cycle. The BMS accepted charge without error flags, voltage held steady under display and modem load, and the protection circuit tripped cleanly at the expected low-voltage cutoff threshold.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. The A2015's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle at low current lets it recalibrate against the new cell before high-current charging begins.
Why the Axon A2015 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The A2015 uses a coulomb-counter fuel gauge IC that tracks charge in and charge out over time. When you swap the physical cell, the IC still holds the discharge curve data from the old, degraded battery. The new cell has a different internal resistance and a different voltage-to-capacity curve, so the IC's percentage estimates are off — sometimes significantly. After one full discharge down to auto-shutdown and a full charge back to 100% at standard rate, the IC resets its baseline and percentage accuracy returns to normal.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the modem, display, or a background app pulls a short burst of high current and the cell voltage drops below the BMS protection threshold faster than the fuel gauge can track. The phone reads 25% but the cell voltage has already fallen under load. It is more common in the first few cycles before the fuel gauge IC has mapped the new cell's actual discharge curve. Run two to three full discharge-charge cycles at standard charge rate — after that, the IC's load-compensation model catches up and the shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Axon A2015 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?
Likely not dead — the BMS has locked out below 2.5V per cell after deep discharge in storage. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not a PC port) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button; the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will re-initialise. If the charging LED stays off past 30 minutes, try a different cable and brick before assuming the cell is lost.
Fast charging stopped working on my A2015 right after I put in the new battery — was it working before?
Yes, this is normal on the first cycle with a new cell. The phone's USB charging protocol negotiates fast charge based on BMS feedback, and on a fresh cell the BMS sometimes responds conservatively until it has completed one full standard charge. Charge once at normal speed all the way to 100%, then disconnect and reconnect — fast charge handshake typically resumes from the second cycle onward.
The battery percentage on my Axon A2015 keeps jumping around erratically — 60% one minute, 45% the next — after the swap. What's happening?
The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve and its stored model no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship. Erratic jumps are most common in the first two cycles. Run the phone down to auto-shutdown, charge fully to 100% at standard rate without interruption, and repeat once more — after two complete cycles the coulomb counter stabilises and the percentage readings settle.
