Fits Asus Transformer Pad 3G and TF103CG models, replaces OEM part C11P1328.
This 3.8V, 5000mAh Li-Polymer cell matches the original tablet power output and capacity rating.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot with the locking tab oriented toward the rear case.
We bench-tested this cell in a TF103CG dock; the BMS accepted the new pack on first charge cycle.
After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the fuel gauge IC calibration and fixes inaccurate percentage display.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus Transformer Pad TF103CG — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11P1328)

This is a 3.8V, 5000mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Asus Transformer Pad 3G series, including the TF103CG and TF0310CG. It replaces OEM part numbers C11P1328, C11Pq2H, and 0B200-00980000M. Fits the tablet unit — not the keyboard dock.

  • TF103CG and TF0310CG compatibility: Both models run the same 3.8V power rail, use the same connector pinout, and share the same BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a TF103CG unit. The BMS accepted the charge handshake on first connection, balanced correctly across the protection circuit, and held voltage within spec at full load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff — do not force-restart — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC a full reference cycle against the new cell and eliminates the inaccurate percentage reading that commonly appears after a swap.

Why the Transformer Pad shuts down at 15–25% remaining

The TF103CG drives its display, WiFi radio, and CPU from a single power path. Under combined load, voltage sags faster than the fuel gauge IC expects based on calibration data from the old, degraded cell. The BMS interprets this sag as a low-voltage cutoff condition and triggers shutdown — even though capacity remains. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge resets the reference curve. After that cycle, shutdowns at 15–25% stop.

Fast charging not available after battery replacement

The Transformer Pad's charge IC negotiates charging rate during the first accepted charge cycle. Until that handshake completes successfully, the system defaults to slow charge as a protective fallback. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Use the original Asus charger, connect at a low state of charge, and let the first cycle complete fully without interruption. Fast charge availability is typically restored from the second cycle onward.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Asus Transformer Pad shows 80% battery but shuts down suddenly — is the new battery faulty?

The battery is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to your old, degraded cell and misreads the new cell's voltage curve under load. Run the tablet down to automatic shutoff without forcing a restart, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that single full cycle, the IC recalibrates and the unexpected shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my TF103CG drops from 100% to 70% within the first few minutes of use — what's wrong?

This is fuel gauge drift. The IC has no accurate reference point for the new cell yet and reports a steep drop at the top of the charge curve. It is not losing actual capacity that fast. One full discharge to automatic shutoff, followed by a complete uninterrupted charge, gives the gauge a full reference sweep. The percentage readout stabilises after that cycle.

Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery on my Transformer Pad — the charger worked fine before.

The charge IC defaults to slow charge when it encounters a new cell because the negotiation handshake hasn't completed yet. This is a protection fallback, not a hardware fault. Connect the original Asus charger at a low state of charge and let the first full charge cycle complete without unplugging early. Fast charge should resume from the second cycle; if it doesn't, check that the charger output is at least 5V 2A.
