Fits Asus ZenBook 15 UX562, UX562FN, UX562FD models; replaces OEM part C41N1809.
15.4V, 3700mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full charge capacity to aging UX562 ultrabooks.
Connector aligns vertically into the battery slot; locking tab secures toward the keyboard edge.
We ran the cell through three full charge-discharge cycles; BMS accepted the new pack without fault codes on boot.
After installation, discharge the laptop fully to hibernate shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings that appear after cell replacement.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus ZenBook 15 UX562 Series — 15.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C41N1809)

This is a 15.4V, 3700mAh (56.98Wh) lithium-polymer battery for the Asus ZenBook 15 UX562 series. It fits the UX562, UX562FN, UX562FD-2G, and compatible variants. OEM part numbers C41N1809 and 0B200-03070000 both cross-reference this cell.

  • UX562 series compatibility: These models share the same 15.4V four-cell Li-Polymer architecture, identical connector pinout, and the same BMS communication protocol used by the Asus EC firmware. Swapping between UX562 variants does not require any hardware modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge, discharge, and BMS handshake verification on UX562 hardware. The EC recognised the battery, accepted a full charge cycle, and the BMS protection thresholds triggered correctly at both ends of the voltage window.
  • Post-install calibration cycle: After fitting this battery, run one full discharge to the hibernate cutoff point, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on UX562 firmware.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after replacement

The Asus EC stores learned capacity data from the old cell in its firmware. When a new cell is fitted, that stored data does not match the new cell's EEPROM values, so the BIOS flags the battery as degraded before it has completed a single cycle. This is a firmware state issue, not a fault with the replacement cell. Running one complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% forces the EC to rewrite its learned cycle data against the new cell.

Laptop shuts down abruptly at 20–30% charge shown on screen

This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated against the new cell's actual discharge curve. The OS reads a voltage that maps to 25% on the old curve, but the new cell hits its minimum sustain voltage under combined CPU and display load before the gauge catches up. The BMS cuts power to protect the cell, which looks like a sudden shutdown. Run two to three full discharge-and-charge cycles and the fuel gauge IC recalibrates its curve — the cutoff point will move back toward 5% where it belongs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does MyAsus show the battery Wh rating as lower than what's printed on the cell?

The Wh figure shown in MyAsus and Device Manager is pulled from the EEPROM on the battery controller, which stores the rated design capacity. The physical cell's actual chemistry can differ slightly from that rated value, and the OS reports the EEPROM number rather than a live measurement. This is a reporting difference, not a capacity loss. After two or three full calibration cycles the fuel gauge will track the real cell more closely, but the EEPROM-reported Wh figure stays fixed.

The replacement battery stopped charging at 80% and won't go higher — is the cell faulty?

The UX562 BIOS includes a charge limit mode that caps charging at 80% to reduce long-term cell stress during AC-connected use. This is a firmware-controlled setting, not a fault with the replacement cell. Open MyAsus, navigate to Customization, and check the Battery Health Charging setting — switch it from Balanced Mode (80% cap) to Full Capacity Mode to restore charging to 100%.

After fitting the new battery, Windows fuel gauge reads 0% and won't move even while charging.

The EC has not yet completed its handshake with the new cell's BMS. Shut the laptop down completely — not sleep or hibernate — leave it off for 60 seconds, then boot with the charger connected. This forces the EC to reinitialise the battery communication bus from a cold state. If the gauge still reads 0% after one full charge cycle, reseat the battery connector and confirm the locking tab is fully engaged, then repeat the cold boot with the charger connected.
