Fits Fujitsu Lifebook AH77/M and replaces CP641484-01, FPCBP424, FPB0307S, and CP693003-03 battery packs.
10.8V lithium-polymer cell with 4050mAh capacity delivers sustained power for this 15.6-inch notebook across full workday computing.
Connector slides straight into the bay with a single locking tab; orientation is keyed to prevent insertion errors.
We bench-tested this pack against the original AH77/M pull; BMS accepted the cell on first charge with no voltage delay or cutoff anomalies.
After installation, run one full discharge to sleep mode, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Fujitsu Lifebook AH77/M Series — 10.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (CP641484-01)

This 10.8V, 4050mAh (43.74Wh) lithium-polymer battery replaces the CP641484-01 in the Fujitsu Lifebook AH77/M, AH77/S, A556, and A556/G. It uses the same connector and BMS handshake as the original cell, so the laptop recognises it on first boot. Voltage and capacity match the factory specification exactly.

  • AH77 and A556 series compatibility: The AH77/M, AH77/S, A556, and A556/G share the same 10.8V power rail, physical connector, and BMS communication protocol. One cell works across all four models without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the AH77 platform and confirmed the BMS communicated state-of-charge correctly throughout. The protection circuit tripped cleanly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold with no unexpected shutdowns during testing.
  • First-cycle conditioning on the AH77: After installing, let the battery drain fully until the laptop hibernates, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears on first boot after any cell swap.

BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after fitting the CP641484-01

The Lifebook BIOS reads health data stored in the old cell's EEPROM and compares it against the new cell's reported state. A fresh cell has no discharge history, so the BIOS flags it as unknown or degraded. This is a firmware interpretation issue, not a fault with the battery. Running one full discharge-to-hibernate followed by a full uninterrupted charge gives the fuel gauge IC enough data to recalibrate and clears the warning within two to three cycles.

Lifebook AH77 shutting down at 20–30% shown on the fuel gauge

This happens when the fuel gauge IC's calibration is still based on the old cell's voltage curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under combined CPU and display load at a point the gauge still reads as 20–30%. The laptop interprets the sudden voltage drop as a critical battery event and forces shutdown. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate cycles with no hibernation threshold override, then charge to 100% each time — by the third cycle the gauge aligns to the new cell's actual curve and the early shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Lifebook AH77 shows the battery Wh rating as wrong in system info after swapping the cell — is something broken?

No. The Wh figure shown in system info is pulled from EEPROM data on the old cell and may not update immediately after a swap. The new CP641484-01 cell is rated at 43.74Wh, but the OS fuel gauge IC needs a few calibration cycles before it reads the correct value. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and full-recharge cycles and the reported Wh figure will align to the new cell.

The A556 fuel gauge jumps erratically between 60% and 90% for the first few charges — what causes that?

The fuel gauge IC on the A556 platform calibrates its percentage readings against charge and discharge curves it builds up over time. A new cell has a different internal resistance profile from the worn cell it replaced, so the IC's existing model is temporarily inaccurate. The erratic jumps settle after three to four full cycles as the IC builds a fresh curve for the new cell. Avoid partial charges during those first cycles — let it run to hibernate and charge to 100% each time.

New battery installed in the Lifebook AH77/S but charging stops at 80% and won't go higher — how do I fix that?

This is almost always a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a fault with the cell. Fujitsu's power management firmware can cap charge at 80% to reduce long-term wear when the laptop spends most of its time plugged in. Open the Fujitsu Battery Utility or BIOS power settings, find the charge limit or "eco charge" option, and set the maximum charge threshold to 100%.
