Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus ZenBook Flip 15 UX562FA Series — 15.36V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B41N1827)
This is a 15.36V, 3500mAh (53.76Wh) Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Asus ZenBook Flip 15 UX562FA series, including the AC023R, AC034T, and UX562FA-2S variants. It replaces OEM part numbers B41N1827 and 0B200-03070200. The four-cell pack sits flush in the UX562FA chassis and connects via the original BMS-authenticated connector.
- UX562FA platform fit: All UX562FA variants share the same 15.36V four-cell architecture, chassis footprint (201.70 × 190.00 × 8.80mm), and BMS handshake protocol — that is why one cell covers the full model range. A mismatch in voltage rail or connector pinout would prevent charge negotiation entirely.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on a UX562FA unit and confirmed the BMS authenticated correctly, charge negotiation completed through all four cells, and no protection-circuit trips occurred across a full charge-to-discharge run under combined CPU and display load.
- First-cycle calibration on the UX562FA: After fitting, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears on EEPROM data carried over from the old cell.
Why the UX562FA shuts down at 20–30% remaining after a battery swap
The ZenBook Flip 15 BIOS maps shutdown thresholds against voltage curves stored from the previous cell. A new cell has a steeper voltage cliff under full CPU-plus-display load than a degraded original. When real cell voltage drops below the BIOS threshold — even though the OS gauge still reads 20–30% — the system cuts power immediately. Running two to three full calibration cycles syncs the fuel gauge IC to the new cell's actual discharge curve and eliminates premature shutdowns. After calibration, the OS reading and real remaining capacity should track within a few percent.
BIOS reporting battery as unknown or 0% immediately after fitting
This happens because the BIOS reads EEPROM data — charge history, cycle count, and rated capacity — from the cell itself. A new cell ships with factory EEPROM values that do not match the old cell's learned data, so the BIOS briefly flags the battery as unknown or shows 0% on first boot. It is not a fault with the replacement cell. Boot into Windows, connect the AC adapter, and allow a full uninterrupted charge to 100% — the BIOS learn cycle will write fresh EEPROM state and the status will resolve to a normal reading. If the warning persists past two full charge cycles, confirm BIOS is on the latest firmware version for the UX562FA.

Frequently Asked Questions
My ZenBook Flip 15 shows the new battery Wh rating as different from what the original listed — is the cell wrong?
The Wh figure the OS displays is pulled from the EEPROM on the cell, and factory EEPROM values on a new cell are set to rated chemistry specs rather than the exact figure the old cell had written after its learn cycles. This replacement is rated at 53.76Wh, which matches the B41N1827 spec. Run one full discharge-to-hibernate then a complete uninterrupted charge to 100% — the BIOS learn cycle will rewrite the EEPROM and the displayed Wh figure will stabilise.
The fuel gauge on my UX562FA jumps around wildly — shows 60%, then 80%, then drops to 40% within minutes.
The fuel gauge IC calibrates against the discharge curve of the installed cell over several cycles. After a cell swap, the IC is still referencing data from the old cell, so readings are erratic until it maps the new cell's voltage-to-capacity relationship. This is not a fault — it resolves after two to three full discharge-and-charge cycles. Let the laptop discharge to hibernate-cutoff naturally under normal use, then charge to 100% without interruption each time.
New battery fitted but charging stops at 80% and will not go higher — UX562FA, Windows 11.
The UX562FA BIOS includes a battery health charging mode that caps charge at 80% by design to reduce long-term cell stress. Check BIOS under Advanced → Power Management or open MyASUS and look for Battery Health Charging — it is almost certainly set to Balanced or Maximum Lifespan mode. Switch it to Full Capacity mode and the charge ceiling will lift to 100%. This is a firmware-controlled limit, not a fault with the replacement cell.
